... Y ya hay preparada la cobertura de Hello del funeral, pero visto lo visto da miedo publicarlo, jajajaja... Encima que Cotilleando goza de semejantes exclusivas, que ingratitud, vais a tener que verlo con el resto del planeta, pero la versión oficial censurada, claro...La versión oficial del funeral por Hello ¡que lo disfruteis! Nuestra reporter particular tiene detalles más suculentos, pero, se siente... En la edición oficial teneis lo de siempre, profusión de fotos del difunto como si no se supiese como era su careto ¡y que el que interesa ahora es el del joven Lord Hugh! Por si acaso, recordando su existencia al final con el importe de su chequera ¡que falta de respeto al difunto!

A private funeral has been held for the Duke of Westminster. Gerald Cavendish Grosvenor, who was a close friend of the royal family, died on Tuesday aged 64.
The Grosvenor Estate announced that the Duke had been laid to rest in a statement, writing: "A quiet private funeral service, attended only by close family members, was held this afternoon, Friday August 12, for the Duke of Westminster who died on Tuesday August 9 2016."

The Duke passed away aged 64
A spokeswoman from Preston coroner's office confirmed that the Duke had passed away from a heart attack, and that there would be no inquest as he died of natural causes.
A spokesperson for Buckingham Palace revealed that the Queen and Prince Philip were aware of the Duke's passing, saying: "I can confirm the Her Majesty the Queen is aware of the news about the Duke of Westminster. A private message of condolence is being sent by the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh."
A short eulogy was also posted on the Grosvenor website, which read: "He was a passionate country man, committed soldier, an excellent shot, a true entrepreneur and, importantly, he went out of his way to be courteous and humorous with all people, regardless of status or wealth.

The Duke's son, 25-year-old Hugh Grosvenor, will inherit his father's title and estate, worth an estimated £8billion, as well as the family seat.

At just 25-years-old, Hugh Richard Louis Grosvenor is now one of the richest people in the world. This week he inherited the title and estate of his father, the Duke of Westminster, Gerald Cavendish Grosvenor, which is estimated to stand at £8.3billion.
The entire fortune, including the family seat, Eaton Hall near Chester, now goes to Hugh - whose new title is the 7th Duke of Westminster - making him the 68th wealthiest billionaire in the world, and the third richest in the UK.

Despite his family's vast wealth and their royal connections – Hugh's mother is Prince William's godmother, and Hugh himself is godfather to Prince George – the new duke prefers to live his life out of the spotlight.
He is the third child of Gerald and his wife Natalia Phillips; he has three sisters, Lady Tamara, 36, who is married to one of William's best friends, Edward van Cutsem, and Lady Edwina, 34, who is married to TV presenter and historian Dan Snow, and 23-year-old Lady Viola.
Hugh and his sister were all educated at a local state primary school – unusual for the children of hereditary peers – before attending a small private day school near the family home Eaton Hall, and then Ellesmere College.

He went on to study countryside management at Newcastle University and the University of Oxford.

Prince Harry was among the 800 invitees invited to the celebrations, while comedian Michael McIntyre and hip hop band Rizzle Kicks provided the entertainment. In keeping with Hugh's private nature, media were banned from attending the spectacular event.
Speaking to The Chester Chronicle at the time, Hugh said: "The party was simply amazing – a birthday and a party I will never forget. It is the beginning of a new era in my life and I look forward to the challenges that lie ahead."

Es increíble que pueda heredar una persona con daño cerebral y no una mujer.
El descerebrado es el que no moderniza estas leyes ridículas y arbitrarias!!!!
En aquellos tiempos bastaba tener coj... en su sitio aunque no hubiese nada en el cerebro, pero el nuevo ya es el 7º y se le supone normal aunque tenga dos hermanas mayores en el siglo XXI.

Y me encantó la foto de los sirvientes, creo que es de una serie llamada "Los de arriba y los de abajo" o algo similar!!!!
El fallecido duque tuvo algunas canas al aire, pero en general la gente habla bien de él. Al parecer el quería obtener algún logro por si mismo y no por ser el Duque millonario.
Estaba muy orgulloso de su rango en el Territorial Army, porque lo asumía como un logro propio.
En el artículo anexo comentan que dejó a Lord Tebbit permanecer en su casa de Belgravia por una renta mínima, luego que Tebbit y su esposa fueron heridos por unas bombas del IRA en Brighton en el 84.
No se conocían, pero le dió esa renta por 20 años.
