Day 5: Has The Ultimate Diana Card Been Played?
It’s now day five, and we have survived the halfway point of the tour. Harry will be in Angola for two days (27-28 September), before he goes to Malawi, and today was the highlight of the tour, where Harry would work alongside The Halo Trust and recreate the renowned image of Diana walking through a cleared minefield in Dirico. However, he’d already done this before in August 2013 on a private visit in Cuito Cuanavale. Harry was patron of the The Halo Trust for its 25th anniversary in 2013, which has been working hard to clear the fields of landmines and to help redevelop the affected communities, and he had wanted to carry on the work Diana had begun. It made sense for him to go then but why not return on an anniversary (2017), and go now?

Later on, he detonated a controlled anti-personnel mine, something had done before as well, and visited the Luengue-Luiana National Park. The minefield there will be the first of 153 to be cleared in Angola, and at least Harry is highlighting the progress being made. Videos show him walking as if he was on a catwalk along the cleared minefield and on Princess Diana Street; this is all excellent PR while at the same time it highlights the work of the charity. Harry may have felt sentimental retracing his mother’s footsteps, but he can’t escape the fact that this can enhance his humanitarian profile, and help bury the recent stories of his hypocrisy. Did he agree to it or was it his idea?

He was then filmed walking down Princess Diana Street in Huambo, named after her that was once filled with landmines, and is the very place where she Diana had walked 22 years ago. Cameras followed him as he sat under the Diana Tree looking pensive. Was he thinking about what his mother would say to him right now, and advise him on the mess he has got himself into? Was that shame or sadness in his face, or perhaps a little of both?

Later, he visited the same Orthopaedic Centre in Huambo, as Diana did back in 1997, and renamed it the Princess Diana Orthopaedic Centre in her honour. There was an opportunity to meet children who would use the centre and also a hug for a woman who lost a leg by stepping on a mine as a child. Decide for yourself if this was a PR opportunity or a genuine act to retrace Diana’s footsteps as an indication that he would pick up where she left off? I feel it’s a bit of both, perhaps it began as a good PR idea, but when he got there it struck him that she actually did good, and he needs to live up to that and do better. What would Diana really make of all that has gone on?

The day ended with a reception in Luanda at the British Ambassador’s residence, and the day has really been how a normal day of engagements are carried out. There was no drama, no faux pas, no breach of protocol, so why have things gone so terribly wrong for Harry? Was the ultimate dead Diana card played today after the Archie Ace card?

There will always be three camps of thought as to why Harry is in Angola recreating what his mother did:

1. Harry is carrying on the work that his mother Diana began, and it was only natural to do so.
2. Harry and the Sussex brand are using the Diana card to gain popularity and hope this makes people forget their recent indiscretions.
3. Those that don’t care either way.

When this tour was first announced, this particular event was highlighted as the main event. It has gone according to plan, but when it was announced in June, it was a time when the Sussex duo declared they were entitled to privacy. Given that Harry’s visit back in 2013 was private, why was there a need to do a public one, and if so, doing it on an anniversary or a date that had meaning would have given it some credibility?

I consider this more of a private and reflective visit, the same as when one visits the birthplace of an ancestor, but Harry allowed the cameras in. Whenever he does that, there is always a reason and one that would benefit him. Don’t get sentimental for the Sussex duo calculate everything and this visit will warm the hearts of the Diana fans whose support Harry may have lost in the recent months. That’s the audience they were aiming for, and while you may think it cynical, you need to think as a tactical PR would when their client needs to claw back lost support or to strengthen waning support. The ultimate Diana card was a fail safe that they could count on to deflect any of the PR that had built up that they didn’t find favorable. The Sussex duo insist on privacy, yet expect publicity when they demand it.

The Archie Ace card appealed to royal fans who got to see the baby move and its full face. Some may forget the fact that the Sussex duo refused to show to the public the baby after the birth or for the christening, and proffered some poorly retouched images instead. The Archie Ace card will have won some fans over, and also the fact the baby wore an affordable High Street outfit (H&M). People can be easily manipulated and because they could buy that outfit for their babies, they could feel ‘royal’ for a while. It’s all rather simple really, and it worked for those folks who take things at face value, yet not everyone is easily impressed or fooled.

The Diana card was played again, but did Harry have a motive, and whose idea was it? Harry has some thinking to do, because the visits will reignite the passion he knew his mother had for the charities she supported, and while away from the distraction of the MM PR circus, he can perhaps think more clearly for himself. Maybe he can see that things are messy, and that he has contributed to it. He has not taken his responsibilities seriously and that must change if he is to support his father and brother in their upcoming roles.

The problem is that the true meaning of the visit today was lost because he has pulled the Diana card too many times over the last two years and that is his fault. It has been drowned out by the cynics and those who are sick and tired of hearing how her death has ruined his life. People no longer care, because he’s an adult and William has coped and balances her memory with respect, but doesn’t allow her death to define him or hold him back.


His work today was useful and had a purpose, yet if this was 2016, before he had met MM, the thought that Harry was using this for publicity would not even cross the minds of the hardest cynics. Yet we are not in another dimension, nor is this series nine of Dallas where we will all wake up and discover this was all a dream. We can’t pretend that the Sussex duo haven’t behaved inappropriately, nor can we ignore the fact that Harry’s family are keeping their distance from them. These are hard facts––ones Harry must face, and by dishing out desperate PR, by using the memory and legacy of his much loved mother, and to use the novelty of Archie’s appearance for his own gain is despicable and something he will have to live with. It may have been a good idea at the time, or he may have felt he had no choice, but he has sold his soul for popularity and to gain affection, just as MM has done. They are not the only ones in the world to have done so, nor will they be the last, but we expected better from Harry, we still do, but I fear it is too late. In this instance, I hope to be proven wrong.

How much lower can Harry go? He is now know as the Duchess of Sussex’s husband, Archie’s father, Diana’s son, and William’s brother––he is Harry, but what will be his epithet, and what legacy is he creating? One thing is for sure, in six years he has aged, and not well for a man with a charmed life. MM behaves like Blackadder, and has reduced him to her Baldrick, yet this is not a classic British comedy, but a real British tragedy. No amount of PR can alter what the history books will write in the future, because it cannot alter the truth.

Day 6: Are MM’s Secret ‘Leaked’ Stories Overshadowing Harry’s Work?


After a couple of relatively drama free days, where Harry revisited places that his mother had been to, the MM drama returned. Within the first 48 hours, a PR firm knows if an event is make or break and the anticipated response from the public wasn’t as positive as they expected, despite the over insurgence of updated stories. There was an awkward sudden cheer, mingled with boos that was consistent with a rent-a-crowd cheering on the way to the District Six Museum, and reports are coming in from locals stating they haven’t a clue who they are or why the duo are visiting.

The Archie and Diana cards were played early on, but it still wasn’t enough, and that’s when we see the lowest form of PR whipped out in a last minute attempt to salvage things. Harry spent a second day in Luanda, Angola and had an audience with President João Lourenço at the Presidential Palace after being welcomed with a traditional guard of honour salute. He is representing the Queen and his country, yet that damned grey suit and brown suede brogues reappeared. Somehow he scrubbed up well when visiting Archbishop Desmond Tutu, but turning up as if you are off to the pub with mates is lazy and disrespectful. At least he managed a tie, and at this point in time we should be thankful for that.

Hs other engagement before flying to Malawi iwas a meeting with First Lady Ana Dias Lourenços on Born Free to Shine, which is a project that helps prevent mother-to-child HIV transmission.

The good news is that ‘Spitting Image’ is back, and there are Harry and MM puppets. Cult fans maybe crying out ‘defamation’, but for years the show has portrayed the Royal Family in a humorous light, and no member of the Royal Family has ever complained publicly. If the Queen doesn’t have a problem with Spitting Image making fun of her and her family, then the Snowflaky Sussex duo will look rather silly if they start whimpering, or moaning as we are now accustomed to.


Stories that are embargoed are usually announcements, and the media outlets make an agreement with the source not to publish until a specific time. Why that would apply to events in the past, and that was on a publicly funded tour of public servants I’m not quite sure? Yet two stories that were supposed to be private surfaced over the weekend. At first one could say the first was leaked, that was until the sussexroyal Instagram page posted and confirmed the story, and we knew then to expect more of the same.

The news that did hit the headlines in the early hours of Saturday morning is another PR driven fiasco where MM had made a private/secret visit to the murder scene of Uyinene Mrwetyana when Harry was in Botswana. Although it was allegedly private, there was a photographer, and locals who saw her were hurtled away and were forbidden to take photos by her security. The problem I have with this is that it appeared to have been embargoed until the Diana story had ended on Friday night after Harry had finished his engagements. If reports are accurate, they say she visited when Harry was in Botswana which was on Thursday, which means journalists have been sitting on the story for more than 24 hours, waiting to publish it.

Published/leaked by Emily Andrews at 9.55 p.m. (UK time) on 27 September, after Harry had finished his last engagement that day.

The ‘private’ visit was posted on the Instagram page on 28 September, at about 7.36 a.m.(UK time), about 9.5 hours after Emily Andrews had posted her tweet about the visit.
An internet search throws up the following results at 8.15 a.m. (UK time), where the only site to mention the story had been posted to Instagram was People magazine at that time.

People magazine updated their post within minutes of the Instagram story being posted, and and a couple of hours later the Daily Mail changed the wording of the headline too.

The visit came after MM hosted a breakfast meeting that had been previously billed as ‘Women in Public Service’ but it was actually a group of activists, and while I support anti-apartheid, I think it was misleading to call it a meeting of women in public service. It was more like inviting people around for breakfast and a chat about what they had done and about their causes, and of course have some photos taken so that MM could say she met and discussed issues with them. The reality is that this is bordering on political which members of the Royal Family are supposed to remain neutral on.

If you look at the deliberate timing and the details of the reporting, Scobie and the pack posted the story just after midnight (Sunday 29 September) even though the visit happened on Thursday and before the ‘secret visit’ to the murder scene of Uyinene Mrwetyana. There is no named photographer for both of these ‘events’ and are labelled Getty Images handouts provided by Sussex Royal, which indicates MM had her own photographer (unnamed) that took the images and Getty are distributing them for free.

Why not do them in real time?
Why does MM need to do everything in secret?

Some may ask what does this all mean? Look at the timing of the stories being released; late Friday night and Saturday morning the Uyinene Mrwetyana story is released 36 hours after it had occurred. The private breakfast meeting was held on Thursday morning, and the story released 72 hours after the meeting had taken place? Why the need for the drama and suspense? Isn’t it highly distasteful to use the tragic death of a teenager to help promote her profile?

Some may say it was genuine, but if it was then you don’t pose for photos, and you don’t take a professional photographer when you claim to make a private visit. You write a dedication in code so as not to highlight it, and you speak to the school children who were opposite the post office who were banned from approaching her or to take photos. To try and pass the visit off as private is like trying to claim China is the most liberal country in the world where the citizens enjoy exceptional freedoms. The latter is not, nor is the former although her PR wishes us to believe that is the case.


The news diverts away from the engagements that Harry has been undertaking, with the press barely mentioning him, and then MM hops on a flight to Johannesberg and is conveniently photographed again clasping the baby to her chest, rather than actually carrying it. Even in the Harper’s article, those at the breakfast meeting aren’t mentioned until the end of the article as it’s all about MM and what she wants to do. Surely the nine inspiring women should have been mentioned first because we all know when people read an article, most people never get to the end of it.



I see this as a deliberate PR move to slowly drip feed stories daily about MM to attempt to elicit a growing fan base and to make it appear that she has empathy and is powerful. I feel she has neither attribute, except the power to manipulate and deceive. All she has done is overshadow the work Harry is doing, but waited until the Diana fail safe card had been played.

The tour and indeed their life seems like a game the duo are playing, on how to manipulate the people into believing that they are the saviours of the world .In reality, they are destroying the Royal Family, where their actions have led to the People losing any respect for the monarchy as a whole (because they are not doing anything to stop them). People are tired of their games, and the problem now is that they have consistently fibbed, hidden things, and tried to manipulate people and events to suit their narrative that any actual good and honest deeds will be considered dubious and met with skepticism.



They are disliked, and loathed quietly behind many closed doors. Paying for followers, likes on their social media pages and comments, and getting aides to cheer them when they appear in public is all just surface scrubbing. MM stories are ‘pay to display’, because most of them are not even newsworthy. Look at the timeline of the events and the released stories and try to find a logical reason (beyond MM wanted a story a day to keep her in the news) to explain why the stories were embargoed, and why those particular days and times were chosen:

• Friday 27 September, 9.55 p.m., Emily Andrews tweets images of MM at Uyinene Mrwetyana’s murder scene. Harry has just finished his day of retracing Diana’s steps in Angola.
• The story is picked up by other media outlets overnight.
• People accuse Andrews of leaking a private story.
• Saturday 28 September, 7.36 a.m., approximately, the official sussexroyal Instagram page posts images and confirms MM visited Uyinene Mrwetyana’s murder scene. This is nearly 48 hours after the visit, so why was a past event that had no security issues be embargoed? Was it because Buckingham Palace staff would not be at work (weekend)? Or maybe because MM needed some story to keep her name in the media? There was no reason not to report the story on the day at all.
• Sunday 29 September, 12.01 a.m., ITV releases a story on the Thursday breakfast meeting, followed by Scobie and the Daily Mail. The story appeared to have been planned for Sunday even though the visit to the murder scene was after the meeting, yet was reported first. Surely publishing stories in chronological order is common sense? That is unless you wish to control the media and the narrative you are hoping to portray.
  
• At 8 a.m., (Sunday 29t September) the sussexroyal Instagram posted about the event. The story was posted 3 days after the event had taken place, and there was no real reason to wait that long. There were no security issues as it took place at the British High Commission, and there were no top secret discussions, plus a photographer was in attendance. Why drip feed a story a day when all the events happened in the space of a few hours except to maximize PR exposure to boost MM’s profile and image.

It’s hard to have sympathy for Harry who has been party to his own demise, yet perhaps these few days away from the bleating tones of MM and walking in his mother’s footsteps will have given him some clarity on the reality of the situation. The MM circus is back and her PR team have less than three days now to capitalize on pushing her international profile, which we all know is futile. People don’t trust them, people don’t want to hear their opinions, and no one likes to be dictated to by hypocrites, especially those who don’t actually work for a living and who are supported by public funds.

What is their tactic now? To push articles saying the tour has been a success before it’s over? It’s ludicrous, it’s like reviewing a book or film when you’ve only read half of it–simply put, you can’t. Success lies in how the public respond, and let’s face it, most people thought it was a waste of time and money, and was a working holiday for an overrated couple with delusions of their popularity and ability to influence. MM is desperate to be adored and if that means stomping over Harry, then he’s just collateral damage while a baby is used as a prop and an ace card. The majority of the public can see this, and it’s time for Buckingham Palace to accept some uncomfortable truths and facts. That is what they owe as a duty of care to the People of the UK, and they need to act for it is negligent and disrespectful. Action, not words!

La segunda no lo es, ni tampoco lo es la primera, aunque su RP desea que creamos que así es.

Las noticias se alejan de los compromisos que Harry ha estado llevando a cabo, con la prensa apenas mencionándolo, y luego MM salta en un vuelo a Johannesburgo y es fotografiado convenientemente de nuevo sujetando al bebé contra su pecho, en lugar de llevarlo en realidad. Incluso en el artículo de Harper's, los del desayuno no se mencionan hasta el final del artículo, ya que se trata de la gestión de la movilidad y de lo que ella quiere hacer. MM está desesperado por ser adorado y si eso significa pisotear a Harry, entonces él es sólo un daño colateral, mientras que un bebé es usado como un accesorio y una carta de as. La mayoría del público puede ver esto, y es hora de que el Palacio de Buckingham acepte algunas verdades y hechos incómodos. Day 7/8: Preacher Harry In Malawi


Harry has arrived in Malawi for three days, where the end is nigh for this tour. The majority of the public can’t wait until it’s over, mainly because they are tired of the disastrous duo and their rhetoric being inflicted upon them, while the PR teams are rushing around making the most of what publicity they can gain. However, whatever they attempt will fail, but watching them stoop so low, scraping the remnants of the dregs is repulsive and deplorable.


His tour began at the Nalikule College in Lilongwe, where he met some alumnae who had been sponsored by CAMFED (Campaign for Female Education) that enable girls in poverty stricken areas to attend school. Via Skype, MM joined in for a brief chat which seemed to make more of the headlines than the speeches Harry made. It was all a little too contrived with the girls bursting into song on cue, and what for? To hear the same things MM says each time she talks about feminist issues? Was the video call necessary, and what did it achieve apart from some tabloid headlines? Did it really mean so much to the students there when MM has only been involved with the charity for a little over a year?


Next, he met the President of Malawi as this was his first official visit as the prior ones were classified as private. Then to end the day, there was a reception at the British High Commission where Harry gave a speech on conservation that was not greeted with the anticipated response he and the PR team had hoped for.


Harry banters and preaches about eco-tourism again, and the need to provide communities with an income and a means to survive. His words are falling on deaf ears, for that sector of tourism is niche and isn’t for everyone. Are we supposed to choose holidays and destinations specifically in order to maintain and provide an income for poorer communities and feel guilty if we don’t? No, that is not how people choose holidays; they choose them based on the weather, what they want to do, and how much it costs. Holidays and traveling is for fun, and the kind of tourism he talks of is geared towards a small sector of the population. These trips usually consist of small groups (because mini buses can only fit up to 15 people and the dirt tracks are narrow), and are expensive.

The typical family of four on their annual holiday doesn’t want to rough it for a day of traveling with no wi-fi or amenities, and why should people be forced to go on tours for the sake of it to give someone a job? It is not our responsibility to provide opportunities. I recall when I was in a quiet resort in Indonesia, locals flocked around the hotels begging all to go on a tour (most were backpackers on a budget), but all I wanted to do was relax on the beach and read and so I did. People should not be guilt tripped into buying services they do not want for the sake of it. The same goes for safaris, because not everyone wants to go on one, and those that do usually have enough money that they can afford to donate to conservation charities.

What Harry needs to realize, or his PR team is that they are preaching to the wrong audience. His words could easily apply to the tourist areas in the UK that depend on visitors that create and maintain jobs in the area. If you look at older resorts like Blackpool and Morecambe Bay, they rely on tourism to survive, and tourists keep the hotels, and restaurants in business. Harry represents the UK, so surely he needs to put the needs of his own people first when it comes to tourism before that of those in other countries. Those living in rural African towns have a different culture and way of life, and while tourism may help some areas, the reality is that a high percentage of people with only a two week holiday once a year will not be choosing an expensive rural location.

The hypocrisy and irony of his chosen words to end on (“…we must overcome greed, apathy and selfishness…”), didn’t appeal to the British public, basically accusing humans of the traits. The public response appears to be one of disgust and disdain at his choice of words., because the very attributes he states people need to ‘overcome’ are the very ones he and his wife flaunt on a daily basis, and then use the humanitarian angle to justify what they do and say.


Can we truly say the Sussex duo are greedy, apathetic, and selfish? Here are a small selection of what others think from the DM (before deletion), and the consensus of the many is that Harry is a hypocrite, evident from his choice of actions and words. Yet he continues to dig his own personal cemetery, refusing to believe the opinions of millions of people. Think of all the people who read the comments who nod silently in agreement but don’t click the green arrow, or those who don’t go online but when they hear the comment nod without hesitation.

To answer the question is the Sussex duo greedy? Maybe Harry isn’t because he has had what wanted all his life, but MM has appeared to be greedy, spending excessive and unnecessary amounts on clothes, jetting off to New York on a whim, and demanding a larger home than Nottingham Cottage when she has not earned a penny in the UK.

Are they apathetic? Well, they don’t appear to be bothered about their own family. MM is apathetic towards her family, and Harry of late appears to be the same. They aren’t interested in making friends unless someone has money and is famous, and have little interest in accepting traditional protocols such as MM talking through the National Anthem being played at Trooping The Colour, and turning up to engagements in an unkempt manner. They simply do not care.

Are the duo selfish? Without a doubt they are where they have not considered the feelings of others (Eugenie’s wedding and the ‘pregnancy look’), the omission of family members at their wedding, the omission of Harry’s cousins children at the wedding, the cost of the wedding, their faux need for privacy, ignoring traditional protocols to suit them, and everything they do has a benefit to themselves. They only care about what’s in it for them and how something makes them look.


The next day, Monday 30 September, Harry is named as the guest editor of the National Geographic Instagram account which is ironic given that the duo have tried to claim that too much social media is dangerous and addictive, yet they ply followers with click and bait posts and stories, and now this. I actually like the National Geographic, so whether it was they who asked him or if his PR made the request, who knows? What is the aim? Maybe to get people to interact and build up more fans as they have asked people to post images of trees in their area. I hate it when accounts ask users to share images, because I know it’s often silent desperation asking others to interact. It’s simply to gain more traction for their hashtags and to create activity for the account without the account having to do any work at all. Cynical, but true if you ask any PR brand manager, because that’s what they do to get more likes, follows, and more people to use their hashtag.


Harry laid a wreath and paid his respects to a fallen British soldier, Guardsman Matthew Talbot who died earlier this year while on an anti-poaching mission in the Liwonde National Park. His other official work was to dedicate the Liwonde National Park and Mangochi Forest to the Queen’s Commonwealth Canopy, which is network of forest conservation programmes within the Commonwealth nations (usually unveiling of a sign)!

The royals do one thing well (generally) and that is to lay wreaths, and to be frank, that’s what Harry should stick to and keep his speeches shorter, neutral, with less of the judgmental preaching. Perhaps Harry should take note that preachers are usually humble, and practice what they preach, but members of the Royal Family should not be preaching anyhow. The desperate social media attempt with Harry as the editor on the National Geopgraphic Instagram account to get fans to interact doesn’t appear to be working. The idea is for people to post images of trees in their community and Harry will pick a selection at the end of the day to share. After four hours, there are only 20 images tagged on Instagram and one of those are from National Geographic, four (now six at the time of writing) from what looks like a dummy account that has never posted until today and who posted these all within minutes of each other! Talk about desperate and obvious, and the PR are probably wondering how to bump up figures. It’s not a contest, but is supposed to inspire people to look around and take photos of trees that they can see, not hunt for images to post.


There are less than two days left of the tour to endure, but what is clear is that the Sussex duo have been following their own agenda despite this being classed as an official tour. So far the duo have appeared scruffy at times, and have played to the press in a bid to gain favorable coverage. One thing they can’t control is how the public respond, because no one is fooled by the posed images and fake smiles. We know the date when the tour will officially finish, but what the People really want to know is when the shambolic Sussex show will come to an end, because that is the date everyone is eagerly waiting for.

R.I.P. and Harry did at least one good thing in Malawi.

Lo que Harry necesita saber, o su equipo de relaciones públicas, es que están predicando a la audiencia equivocada. Sus palabras podrían aplicarse fácilmente a las zonas turísticas del Reino Unido que dependen de los visitantes que crean y mantienen puestos de trabajo en la zona. Si nos fijamos en los resorts más antiguos como Blackpool y Morecambe Bay, dependen del turismo para sobrevivir, y los turistas mantienen los hoteles y restaurantes en el negocio. Day 8 ~ MM’s Last Minute ‘Private’ Visit PR Push
With less than 48 hours left on the tour, the Sussex PR team are probably high on triple espressos and chasing each others tails as they pack in as many PR stunts as they can in a vain attempt to endear the public to the ‘charms’ of the duo. By now we expect some sneaky tricks, and we’ve seen some already, and on 30 September, MM pulled another one, taking even her royal reporters by surprise.

At around 2 p.m., according to some reporters, MM made a ‘private’ visit to the Victoria Yards Studios in the Timbuktu Valley Johannesburg, which houses studios with artists and designers. Some say the visit was a surprise, yet it wasn’t really as Tshepo Jeansposted that the British Embassy called him a month ago to order some jeans for MM, so she was bound to turn up to collect them at some point. What perplexes me is that the British Embassy is ordering clothes for MM and obviously paying for them, because we all know she has the ability to pick up the phone herself to order things.

The trip was obviously planned well in advance, and as usual we know private doesn’t actually mean private, but that MM wishes to control how she is portrayed in the images during the visit.

The visit was billed as private, yet three hours later all the photos surfaced from all the royal reporters and the sussexroyal Instagram page posted the story too, because they knew the artists that were visited would post about the visit on their social media. As expected there were the usual publicity photos of hugs with children, and MM waving her hands around as she talked, so basically same old. There was nothing wrong with visiting the artists, and I’m sure they appreciated any publicity, however, don’t claim it’s a private visit when you have photographers with you, and pose for photos that you intend to post on social media.

This is supposed to be an official tour, but we all know it’s a working holiday that offered an opportunity for promotion for the Sussex duo, whether it be for their charities, their own personal agenda, their public profile, or to endorse items of clothing from friends or brands that are ‘friendly’. Without a doubt, they have both been milking it, and, it’s trashy, underhand, low, and in poor taste; certainly not what you expect from members of the Royal Family, which is why many members of the public are turning their backs on them and disregard them as members of the Royal Family. Paid for PR stories by ‘royal commentators’ have surfaced, claiming the duo have a unique and unorthodox approach which is appealing. I can only imagine it would appeal to those residing in Broadmoor.

The most important engagement Harry had today was paying his respects on behalf of the country of the fallen soldier, Guardsman Matthew Talbot and that is what was important. Other events should not have superseded this in my opinion, but MM not being British (and having no ties to the nation), and her American based PR appear to have little concept of respect for when a soldier is killed while on active duty. It’s a shame that her ‘private’ visit has overshadowed this, and also Harry’s attempt at preaching on the environment. This seems like a popularity game that they are both playing, and it’s childish. The only consolation we have is that in less than two days this will be over, yet is also means they will return to the UK and I’m sure the duo have more games in store… oh yay. The country has had enough of the duo.

The tour hasn’t made them more popular, but has had an adverse effect not only on them, but also the UK as a whole. It’s time to accept nothing will work to change the minds of the public, and the duo have been disowned by many members of the public already. They have made history for sure, as the most loathed couple in the House of Windsor, and when their reputation affects the nation, action must be taken. Brits are appalled and embarrassed that the duo have represented them abroad, and now they are blaming the Queen for endorsing this. If the Queen wants to save what is left of her reputation, she needs to act swiftly. Deeds, not words please Ma’am!

A estas alturas esperamos algunos trucos furtivos, y ya hemos visto algunos, y el 30 de septiembre, MM hizo otro, sorprendiendo incluso a sus reporteros reales.

Alrededor de las 14:00 horas, según algunos periodistas, MM realizó una visita "privada" a los estudios Victoria Yards en el valle de Timbuktu, Johannesburgo, que alberga estudios con artistas y diseñadores. Algunos dicen que la visita fue una sorpresa, pero no fue realmente como Tshepo Jeans publicó que la Embajada Británica lo llamó hace un mes para pedir unos vaqueros para MM, por lo que ella estaba obligada a ir a recogerlos en algún momento. Lo que me desconcierta es que la Embajada Británica está ordenando ropa para MM y obviamente está pagando por ella, porque todos sabemos que ella misma tiene la capacidad de levantar el teléfono para ordenar cosas.

La visita fue facturada como privada, pero tres horas después todas las fotos aparecieron de todos los reporteros reales y la página de sussexroyal Instagram también publicó la historia, porque sabían que los artistas que fueron visitados publicarían sobre la visita en sus medios sociales. Como era de esperar, había las fotos publicitarias habituales de abrazos con niños, y MM moviendo las manos mientras hablaba, así que básicamente lo mismo de siempre. No había nada malo en visitar a los artistas, y estoy seguro de que apreciaron cualquier publicidad, sin embargo, no digas que es una visita privada cuando tienes fotógrafos contigo, y posa para fotos que pretendes publicar en los medios de comunicación social.

Se supone que esta es una gira oficial, pero todos sabemos que es una fiesta de trabajo que ofreció una oportunidad de promoción para el dúo Sussex, ya sea para sus organizaciones benéficas, su propia agenda personal, su perfil público, o para promocionar artículos de ropa de amigos o marcas que son "amigables". Es una pena que su visita'privada' haya eclipsado esto, y también el intento de Harry de predicar sobre el medio ambiente. Esto parece un juego de popularidad que ambos están jugando, y es infantil. El único consuelo que tenemos es que en menos de dos días esto habrá terminado, pero también significa que volverán al Reino Unido y estoy seguro de que el dúo tiene más juegos en el almacén... oh sí. El país está harto del dúo.

La gira no los ha hecho más populares, y sí ha tenido un efecto adverso no sólo en ellos, sino también en el Reino Unido en su conjunto. Es hora de aceptar que nada cambiará la opinión del público, y el dúo ya ha sido repudiado por muchos miembros del público. Han hecho historia con seguridad, como la pareja más odiada de la Casa de Windsor, y cuando su reputación afecta a la nación, hay que tomar medidas. Los británicos están consternados y avergonzados de que el dúo los haya representado en el extranjero, y ahora están culpando a la Reina por apoyar esto. Si la Reina quiere salvar lo que queda de su reputación, necesita actuar con rapidez. ¡Hechos, no palabras, por favor, señora!

The Penultimate Day Of The Southern Africa Tour
Many have questioned the point of this tour, and looking at the engagements that have been organized it has left people still scratching their heads. There has been a mix of courtesy visits, mingled with projects that the duo are promoting on a personal level. The endless updates on social media for what can be classed as non-stories have been tiresome to endure, and as I write this, it will be all over by the end of the day.


On the last day of Harry’s solo leg of the tour (Tuesday 1 October), he visited the Mauwa Health Centre in Blantryre. Malawi, which is a rural village. It’s actually a ‘pharmacy-in-a-box’ which is a guarded temperature controlled, solar powered prefab storage container that stores vaccines, and other medical supplies, and is a joint UK and USA funded project. In rural places these projects help save many lives, and I have seen them myself on my travels where villagers have to walk 2-3 days to get any medicine for illnesses or injuries. Such resources are invaluable, but are expensive to manage and maintain. I imagine Harry was there to represent the UK for its part in developing and maintaining the project, but what did it really do? He learnt about the operation, and perhaps it has made others more appreciative of the healthcare available to us in the developed countries, and that’s it. I do hope Harry felt humbled as he chatted to locals, but as to whether the visit will result in increased funding or additional ‘pharmacy-in-a-box’ projects being created, who knows? I do hope it is the latter.

It was here, a reporter (Rhiannon Mills) asked, “What do hope to achieve from it?” where Harry dismissed her like a servant and said, “Ask her,” gesturing to his aides and PR staff. When the door of the car didn’t open he is heard telling her ,”…don’t behave like this,” when she asked ,”…if it was important for him to talk come here and talk about this,” which seemed offhand and actually rude. How dare he talk down to someone about how to behave when his own behaviour has been appalling and questionable. Clearly he has little interest in the engagements or the work being done, and he didn’t even try to pretend.

However, that good work was overshadowed by the news that Range Rovers had been shipped from the UK to Southern Africa for the tour, allegedly because organizers said suitable vehicles were unobtainable. While it has been stated it didn’t cost the taxpayer, others have questioned the carbon footprint incurred with the transportation of the vehicles. Apparently they do sell Range Rovers in South Africa, but as the cars used had UK number plates it was questioned as to how they came about. Personally, I can’t see why it was necessary, as what is the criteria for ‘suitable’ as luxury cars exist in South Africa and would have been more than adequate?

This leads us to MM’s solo visits of the day which had been well publicized beforehand. She first visited the University of Johannesburg and joined them for a roundtable discussion as patron of the ACU (Association of Commonwealth Universities) for about an hour where she announced some additional grants and scholarships that were being added. However, what we heard was MM repeating the same spiel (that these enabled her to pay for college), just in a different country and with different people around her. She did add the part that it takes a village and family to chip in, as we know her father chipped in a fair amount for her education, though she fails to acknowledge that.

We know scholarships and grants help students gain access to education; that’s not news, and has been the case for centuries. How do you think poor children in England (Scotland has different laws) managed to have an education? If you have studied English history, you will realize it was through charity funded church schools, and benefactors that gave grants that enabled education for all eventually. If you look at the Fisher Act (1918) and the Butler Act (1944) which were not that long ago, they provided free education for all up to the age of 14, so grants and scholarships have always existed to aid those unable to afford private education. Where do these grants come from? Wealthy benefactors or companies that can write them off as tax exemptions, as is the case for most institutions and around the world which is why they get buildings and libraries named after them. Was there anything groundbreaking in this? The fact is in the UK and USA, attending University is still out of reach for many for fear of getting into debt, and having to balance work responsibilities. Therefore it is an issue not just for the Commonwealth but worldwide.


While MM did waffle on, it was clear the other attendees look confused when MM decided to go back to her notes because she said, “…I can’t screw up …”, cue nervous laughter because, well, you use that kind of language in a casual setting with your friends, but not formal business meetings. Perhaps in American films it’s used more commonly, but this is real life.

Later she attended another roundtable but with Action Aid, about gender violence (aimed at protecting females). While it is an important topic, I see violence of any sort abhorrent regardless of gender, yet culturally in countries where females are considered lower down in the pecking order this is what happens. How do you fight it? This is where striving for equality is paramount, while at the same time respecting the different cultural traditions. If you have ever lived in such a country you will see the disparity, but do western folks have a right to impose their culture and way of thinking on others? There were the usual hugging photos, except this time MM went to hug but the girl recoiled and then relented to an awkward hug.

The day ended with Harry flying from Malawi to Johannesburg, and MM giving a friendly interview to Rebecca English of the Daily Mail on her thoughts of the tour. Yet around 7.25 p.m., the Sussex duo issued a statement that they were taking legal action against the Mail on Sunday (Associated Newspapers) for misuse of private information, copyright infringement, and breach of the Data Protection Act 2018. Harry’s statement made various apparent unvalidated assertions including accusing some of the reporters that he had interacted with over the week of double standards. Hmm… I think thats a case of the pot calling the kettle black, because the press have been very generous IMHO in ignoring the obvious faux pas many couldn’t help but notice, and fancy giving an interview to a paper that you are about to sue when you knew that.

The penultimate day shouldn’t be about the ‘legal statement’ but about the people that the duo met and what projects they highlighted. Didn’t they consider this when they released the statement? The problem is, it appears whatever they touch actually deters people which is a shame for charities that can’t say no, but have been used by them. Many will question the timing of the legal case, and ask whether the duo were poorly advised, or did they make a foolhardy decision?

The tour (on paper) had been promoted and well received, even though the public failed to see the benefit and the reason for it. How could they not see that this decision has undone any of the good they did, and has overshadowed the tour? It proves that the duo are trying to control the media, and are still deluded playing the victim asking for support, but they can never force the public to like them. Deleting comments doesn’t alter the fact that a large percentage of people disapprove of their entitled behaviour, especially when Harry played the dead Diana card again. However, this topic warrants its own article later on, but I had already touched upon this earlier in the year that you can read here.

If the Sussex duo had hoped to win the affections of the public with the tour, the choice to sue the Mail on Sunday (and to accuse a pack of reporters of conspiring to publish fake stories about the duo) means there’s Bob Hope now. Those who were swinging on the fence in their direction have jumped off it and back into the world where freedom of thought and expression happily exist. Some cult fans may embrace the news, and while the DM and MoS often get things wrong and stumble recklessly over the invisible boundaries, on this occasion what they did was give an old man a chance to have his say on a story that had defamed him. The paper has done far worse, but the publishing of excerpts of a letter (that was provided by the owner) that challenges a series of events that contradict a planted narrative (People magazine), is not the crime of the century. There are far greater crimes that some of the players maybe involved with.

One must remember that these cases are often done through ego to prove a point, to try and show that a party has power because they can afford to do so. That didn’t work out so well for Rachel Meghan Markle when she challenged the IRS back in 2010 for $938 and lost the case, having to pay the court fees, her outstanding tax bill, and interest accrued. It is indeed sad that the Southern Africa tour will be remembered for the statement made on the newly launched sussexofficial.uk website, which has effectively killed their chances of salvaging their popularity. Harry asks people for their support in this case, playing the victim––Harry, people don’t support whining hypocrites, and arrogant bullies who talk down to people, and that I am afraid is the image you are both projecting.

The tour is finally over (and I will summarize the last day and an overall tour summary later on), and while the Sussex duo wish to stand out, they do, but for all the wrong reasons. Instead of celebrating, there is a distinct air of moribund toxicity, and is more a case of “Fair is Foul, Foul is Fair”. It’s time for some of the players to finally to choose a side.

Personalmente, no veo por qué era necesario, ya que ¿cuáles son los criterios de "adecuado", ya que los coches de lujo existen en Sudáfrica y habrían sido más que adecuados?

Esto nos lleva a las visitas en solitario de MM del día, que habían sido bien publicitadas de antemano. Primero visitó la Universidad de Johannesburgo y se unió a ellos para una mesa redonda como patrocinadora de la ACU (Asociación de Universidades de la Commonwealth) durante aproximadamente una hora, donde anunció algunas subvenciones y becas adicionales que se estaban añadiendo. Sin embargo, lo que escuchamos fue a MM repitiendo el mismo discurso (que le permitía pagar la universidad), sólo que en un país diferente y con gente diferente a su alrededor. Añadió la parte que se necesita una aldea y una familia para contribuir, ya que sabemos que su padre aportó una buena cantidad para su educación, aunque ella no lo reconoce.

Si has estudiado historia inglesa, te darás cuenta de que fue a través de las escuelas de la iglesia financiadas por la caridad, y los benefactores que dieron becas que permitieron la educación para todos eventualmente. Si nos fijamos en la Ley Fisher (1918) y la Ley Butler (1944), que no hace mucho tiempo, proporcionaban educación gratuita para todos hasta los 14 años, por lo que siempre han existido subvenciones y becas para ayudar a los que no pueden pagar la educación privada. ¿De dónde provienen estas subvenciones? El día terminó con Harry volando de Malawi a Johannesburgo, y MM dando una entrevista amistosa a Rebecca English del Daily Mail sobre sus pensamientos acerca de la gira. Muchos cuestionarán la oportunidad del caso legal, y preguntarán si el dúo fue mal aconsejado, o si tomaron una decisión imprudente.

La gira (en papel) había sido promocionada y bien recibida, aunque el público no vio el beneficio y la razón de ello. ¿Cómo no ver que esta decisión ha deshecho algo de lo bueno que hicieron y ha eclipsado la gira? Demuestra que el dúo está tratando de controlar los medios de comunicación, y que todavía se engañan haciendo de víctimas que piden apoyo, pero nunca pueden obligar al público a que les gusten. La eliminación de comentarios no altera el hecho de que un gran porcentaje de personas desaprueban su comportamiento legítimo, especialmente cuando Harry volvió a jugar la carta de Diana muerta. Sin embargo, este tema merece su propio artículo más adelante, pero ya lo había mencionado a principios de este año que pueden leer aquí.



Si el dúo Sussex esperaba ganarse el afecto del público con la gira, la decisión de demandar al Mail el domingo (y acusar a un grupo de reporteros de conspirar para publicar historias falsas sobre el dúo) significa que ahora está Bob Hope. Aquellos que se balanceaban sobre la valla en su dirección han saltado de ella y regresado al mundo donde la libertad de pensamiento y expresión existe felizmente. Algunos fanáticos de las sectas pueden aceptar las noticias, y aunque el DM y el MoS a menudo se equivocan y tropiezan imprudentemente con los límites invisibles, en esta ocasión lo que hicieron fue darle a un anciano la oportunidad de opinar sobre una historia que lo había difamado. The Tour Finale In More Ways Than One
The final day of the tour was Wednesday 2 October, and it was a busy one to wrap up things and to thank the host nation, however, understandably there was tension, given that the Sussex duo had effectively stuck their fingers up at the press who had tirelessly followed them for 10 days. The engagements they had were carried out for the usual photo ops and speeches; that’s what it was for. What really lay beneath the exteriors of all the players that day?

Their day consisted of:

• A visit to the township of Tembisa, and to an enterprise facility for unemployed youths called Yes4Youth.
• Attending a UK and South Africa business and investment reception at the High Commission.
• Meet Graça Machel, the widow of Nelson Mandela.
• Meeting President Cyril Ramaphosa.

However, that was all just icing on the cake, and what people really wanted to talk about was why the two-faced duo decided not to just to file legal proceedings against a media outlet that has supported them, but to also accuse the ‘press pack’ of “… a campaign (by this media group) to publish false and deliberately derogatory stories…”which is confusing, as the tabloids have been overly generous towards the pair during the tour.

“The positive coverage of the past week from these same publications exposes the double standards of this specific press pack that has vilified her…”

One looks tense, the other doesn’t care ~ The Morning After The Statement Was Released.
Therefore, they are not just attacking the Mail on Sunday (Daily Mail, same company), but every single journalist that has reported on them ever, and dared to criticize them for anything. That is akin to communism where a party wants complete control over their image and what is said publicly by the media. The last time I checked the UK was still a democratic nation, and to try and punish, bully, or threaten the ‘press pack’ , well, this can go one of several ways:

• Was the aim to frighten journalists so that they will only write sugary positive pieces and deny access to them if they don’t (a tactic that appears to be used by a US president)?
• Will journalists hold their ground and report the truth without fear, and perhaps lose their jobs?
• Or will journalists sit on a fence with some lightly sugar coating (so it it doesn’t look like an attack), and then let loose, compromising their integrity only ever so slightly (Piers Morgan, Jan Moir, and Sarah Vine) with thinly veiled with sarcasm?

Are the Sussex duo attempting to bully the press into writing what they want to suit their narrative? The irony being that any damages would be donated to an anti-bullying charity.

The first visit of the day was to Tembisa was when the press pack came face to face with their accusers. They had been ‘harkled’ and there was obvious tension. Valentine Low had reported that Harry had ignored most of the press that accompanied him until he had to pose for photos whilst he was solo. Is a kind word, or friendly smile too much to ask? That isn’t the Harry they used to know, and was the only reason why the press liked him. He was happy to stop and chat off the cuff to reporters with flippant remarks and make funny poses, but that was then, yet it’s hard to believe that was a mere 3 years ago before meeting MM. He has changed, and not for the better.

The speeches contained the usual Sussex buzzwords of value of community, have a voice, feed yourself, potential, empowerment, pave your path, your role, lift each other up, power within you to change, connect to others, among other Sussex cliches. These words once meant something whereas now they have lost what gravitas they once had, and are atypically heard at motivational workshops and events. The duo delivered the expected thank you speeches and gushed about how welcoming everyone was and how wonderful the tour was, yet only several hours before they had admonished the people who supported and promoted them. Harry talks of double standards, yet he hypocritically has shown that he has double standards. Yes, the press do make up stories at times, but more often ones that paint the duo in a better light than they deserve. Printing a true but uncomfortable story as derogatory is sheer delusion. At times the truth is unpleasant and that’s real life.

Harry look tired, and uneasy, struggling to get on the stage when he made his speech and nervously shook his leg throughout. That’s usually a sign that someone doesn’t want to be there, and are merely saying what they have to. There was brief sigh when he mentioned the launch of the Sussex Foundation, and of course had to remind everyone of the tragic loss of Diana again. That Diana card has been dealt on a daily basis during the tour, and playing the victim no longer works, even on the old dears. He then went on to ‘boast’ that MM was going to speak without notes, mainly because she wasn’t supposed to speak, but it wasn’t actually a speech but a thank you tossed Sussex word salad, garnished with Sussex speak.


There was of course the incessant hand holding, and a double claw too as this was the last day, and it was apparent all just wanted the day to be over except MM who was basking in the attention she was getting. Her outfits were a mix of recycled items, bringing up the question as to whether funding has been cut. Harry did have a new pair of boots and thank goodness the grey jacket is in the wash!


The highlight should have been meeting Graça Machel (Mandela’s widow) and Cyril Ramaphosa (South African President), but it was just about the photos for show. Some reporters may shake their heads at the overnight statement and not give it much thought, but the more experienced hacks know that it alters the delicate balance and understanding the Royal Family have had with the press. The press records all Royal Family events, and spreads their messages far and wide, preserving them for generations to come. They matter, and respect is both ways. The younger ones fail to see the implications, focusing on a work trip jolly, and increased readership due to the cult fans. In time those fans will have moved on and the followers will dwindle, so some will capitalize on it while they can.

Understandably some journalists are hurt by the accusation, and others confused. The Sussex duo only want positive press; wasn’t it enough that some embellished stories for them and ignored some of their obvious errors?


It’s hard to feel sorry for the press for they have enabled this charade. Perhaps because they wanted to believe that the duo would be good to back, and because they appeared to give the press access that they could use to advance their careers. It’s a case of them and us to the duo, and I liken it to a group going on holiday for a week and having a good time, getting to know each other, and then just before they fly back, one side publicly declare that they loathe and despise the people they had been with and had used them, and will sue them for something trivial just because they can.


How do you show your face? Perhaps that’s why Harry was offhand with Mills knowing that the statement would cause friction, although he sounded more like a spoilt entitled brat who Mills should be grateful that he allowed her to speak to him. Harry looked uneasy, while MM seemed to don a smug smirk. It appeared to be clear who was responsible for the release of the statement––the only person who didn’t appear to give a damn.

There was little rapport and none of the joviality that is seen when a tour ends well, but the duo had made sure it didn’t end well, except for them in their heads. They thought by taking the action they did that they had gained control, but a life lesson will teach you that you cannot control the sympathies and thoughts of the masses that aren’t brainwashed. The speeches were the same old regurgitated crap that we have heard before. There was no substance and it was all for show, and everyone just wanted it to be over and to go home. That is not what you call a successful tour, and choosing to release statements pertaining to civil legal matters when you are guests of a host nation is the height of impropriety and discourteous.

I decided to run a poll for a week so people can vote and have their say in what they think of Harry’s statement. Is the statement limiting free press and bullying the press into writing only positive articles on the duo, or are the duo really being attacked? Can a true story where the duo have been shown to be hypocrites be construed as an attack?

The tour ended on a dire and sour note, but the Sussex duo achieved what they set out to do which was to promote themselves, their causes, agendas, and their narrative. Will journalists and media platforms feel that they must yield to the demands of the duo, or will they put them in their place? People that followed the Sussex duo, did so for the gossip (and I get many people trying to join my group for gossip––they are deleted), but the duo have shown who and what they really are during this tour––petty, vindictive, arrogant, and disrespectful bullies.

The first tour was a Comedy of Errors, but people put that down to nerves; this was a second tour which was much shorter, yet the errors came faster and thicker. The Sussex duo have opened a door that should never have been opened, by deciding to take legal action for something that really is a father and daughter dispute that she started, and have dragged their families into their narcissistic desire to control their public persona. Little did they realize that the very action they took revealed characteristics they had hoped no one would notice. WE NOTICED!

Sin embargo, todo eso era sólo la guinda del pastel, y de lo que la gente realmente quería hablar era de por qué el dúo de dos caras decidió no limitarse a entablar acciones legales contra un medio de comunicación que les ha apoyado, sino también acusar al "dossier de prensa" de "... una campaña (por parte de este grupo de medios de comunicación) para publicar historias falsas y deliberadamente despectivas...", lo que resulta confuso, ya que los periódicos sensacionalistas han sido demasiado generosos con la pareja durante la gira.

"La cobertura positiva de la semana pasada de estas mismas publicaciones expone el doble rasero de este dossier de prensa específico que la ha vilipendiado..."

Por lo tanto, no sólo están atacando al Mail el domingo (Daily Mail, la misma compañía), sino a todos los periodistas que han informado sobre ellos y se han atrevido a criticarlos por cualquier cosa. Esto es similar al comunismo, en el que un partido quiere el control total de su imagen y de lo que dicen públicamente los medios de comunicación. La última vez que comprobé que el Reino Unido seguía siendo una nación democrática, y para intentar castigar, intimidar o amenazar al "paquete de prensa", bueno, esto puede ser de varias maneras:

¿Se trataba de asustar a los periodistas para que sólo escribieran artículos positivos azucarados y negaran el acceso a ellos si no lo hacían (una táctica que parece ser utilizada por un presidente de EE.UU.)?
¿Los periodistas se mantendrán firmes y reportarán la verdad sin temor, y tal vez perderán sus empleos?
¿O se sentarán los periodistas en una valla con una ligera capa de azúcar (para que no parezca un ataque), y luego se soltarán, comprometiendo su integridad sólo ligeramente (Piers Morgan, Jan Moir y Sarah Vine) con un velo de sarcasmo?
¿Están los dos Sussex intentando intimidar a la prensa para que escriba lo que quieren que se adapte a su narrativa? La ironía es que cualquier daño sería donado a una organización benéfica anti-intimidación.


La primera visita del día fue a Tembisa, donde el dossier de prensa se encontró cara a cara con sus acusadores. Habían sido "acosados" y había una tensión obvia. Estas palabras alguna vez significaron algo, mientras que ahora han perdido la gravedad que antes tenían, y se escuchan atípicamente en talleres y eventos motivacionales. El dúo pronunció los esperados discursos de agradecimiento y se refirió con entusiasmo a la acogida y a la maravilla de la gira, aunque sólo unas horas antes habían advertido a las personas que los apoyaban y promovían. Harry habla de doble rasero, pero ha demostrado hipócritamente que tiene doble rasero. Sí, la prensa inventa historias a veces, pero más a menudo las que pintan el dúo bajo una luz mejor de la que se merecen. Imprimir una historia verdadera pero incómoda como despectiva es pura ilusión. A veces la verdad es desagradable y eso es la vida real.

Los más jóvenes no ven las implicaciones, enfocándose en un viaje de trabajo alegre, y un aumento en el número de lectores debido a los fanáticos de la secta. Con el tiempo esos fans habrán seguido adelante y los seguidores disminuirán, así que algunos lo capitalizarán mientras puedan.

Es comprensible que algunos periodistas resulten heridos por la acusación y otros confundidos. El dúo Sussex sólo quiere una prensa positiva; ¿no les bastó con que algunas historias adornadas les hicieran caso omiso de algunos de sus errores obvios?

Es difícil sentir lástima por la prensa, ya que han permitido esta farsa. Tal vez porque querían creer que el dúo sería bueno de apoyar, y porque parecían dar acceso a la prensa que podían utilizar para avanzar en sus carreras. Es un caso de ellos y nosotros con el dúo, y lo comparo con un grupo que se va de vacaciones durante una semana y se divierte, conociéndose, y justo antes de que vuelen de vuelta, una de las partes declara públicamente que detesta y desprecia a la gente con la que había estado y que los había utilizado, y los demandará por algo trivial por el simple hecho de poder hacerlo.



¿Cómo muestras tu cara? Quizás es por eso que Harry estaba confundido con Mills sabiendo que la declaración causaría fricción, aunque sonaba más bien como un mocoso malcriado con derecho al que Mills debería estar agradecido de que le permitiera hablar con él. Harry parecía inquieto, mientras que MM parecía sonreír con suficiencia. Parecía claro quién era el responsable de la liberación de la declaración, la única persona a la que no le importaba nada.



Había poca relación y nada de la jovialidad que se ve cuando una gira termina bien, pero el dúo se había asegurado de que no terminara bien, excepto por ellos en sus cabezas. Pensaron que al tomar la acción que hicieron, habían ganado el control, pero una lección de vida te enseñará que no puedes controlar las simpatías y los pensamientos de las masas que no tienen lavado de cerebro. Los discursos fueron la misma mierda regurgitada de siempre que hemos escuchado antes. No había sustancia y todo era para el espectáculo, y todos querían que se acabara y se fuera a casa. Eso no es lo que usted llama una gira exitosa, y la elección de publicar declaraciones relativas a asuntos legales civiles cuando usted es invitado de una nación anfitriona es el colmo de la impropiedad y la descortesía.







Decidí hacer una encuesta durante una semana para que la gente pueda votar y expresar su opinión sobre la declaración de Harry. ¿La declaración limita la libertad de prensa e intimida a la prensa para que escriba sólo artículos positivos sobre el dúo, o el dúo está siendo realmente atacado? ¿Puede interpretarse como un ataque una historia real en la que el dúo ha demostrado ser hipócrita?

La gira terminó con una nota amarga y desagradable, pero el dúo Sussex logró lo que se propuso hacer: promoverse a sí mismos, sus causas, sus agendas y su narrativa. ¿Sentirán los periodistas y las plataformas de medios de comunicación que deben ceder a las demandas del dúo, o las pondrán en su lugar? La gente que siguió al dúo de Sussex, lo hizo por los chismes (y hay mucha gente que está tratando de unirse a mi grupo para los chismes, pero el dúo ha demostrado quiénes y qué son realmente durante esta gira: unos matones mimos, vengativos, arrogantes e irrespetuosos.



La primera gira fue una Comedia de Errores, pero la gente lo achacaba a los nervios; esta fue una segunda gira que fue mucho más corta, pero los errores llegaron más rápido y más espesos. El dúo Sussex ha abierto una puerta que nunca debió haberse abierto, al decidir emprender acciones legales por algo que realmente es una disputa entre padre e hija que ella inició, y han arrastrado a sus familias a su deseo narcisista de controlar su personalidad pública. Poco se dieron cuenta de que la misma acción que tomaron revelaba características que esperaban que nadie notara. ¡NOSOTROS LO NOTAMOS!

Soy de la opinión de que si algo funciona es mejor no cambiarlo. Creo que la monarquía británica goza de buena salud y la reina está muy bien considerada.

No veo la necesidad de cambio en ningún aspecto. Se habla de modernizar, pero eso, referido a la monarquía que se basa en las tradiciones y en la herencia por sangre, no es coherente más que en algunos aspectos menores.

Por lo que he leído, en UK están satisfechos en su mayoría con su reina. Y por lo que he leído también, no lo están tanto con estas ideas de cambio porque sí.
