Their Royal Highnesses Hereditary Prince Philip and Princess Danica are delighted to announce the birth of their daughter, Princess Marija, on Sunday, 5th November 2023 at 12:31pm. The baby weighs 4.060kg and measures 55cm.
Both the mother and the baby are healthy and well.
Princess Marija is the second child of the Princely couple and is the first princess born in the direct hereditary line of the Karađorđević Royal Family since Princess Jelena (b. 1880), the daughter of King Peter I of Serbia and Princess Zorka.
