No te preocupes mi querida @tseuG...

If the idea of the Cotswolds conjures up that scene - from the 2006 film The Holiday - of Cameron Diaz sat by a fire with a mug of hot chocolate in the English countryside, then this might give you and idea of what Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have planned for their weekend breaks in the future.

Architectural Digest reports that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have just signed a two-year lease for a new home on the Great Tew Estate in the West Country, just two weeks after their royal wedding at Windsor Castle.

he decision comes amid their renovations on Nottingham Cottage at Kensington Palace, London where the two will reside on a permanent basis.

Located on the same 4,000-acre grounds as Soho House’s famous property Soho Farmhouse (as well as Markle’s BFF Victoria Beckham’s country home), the Cotswolds retreat will come as a welcome relief to the American star who has frequented the celeb-favourite Farmhouse several times during her visits to the UK over the years.

News of the couple’s latest splurge follows the news they took a romantic trip to Oxfordshire to clear their heads just days before their wedding day.

With two homes on the horizon, it is also widely speculated that Queen Elizabeth II will give the newlyweds a house as a wedding present, as she did for Prince William and Kate Middleton.

In 2013, the Queen bestowed the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Anmer Hall – one of her most luxurious houses on her Sandringham Estate in Norfolk - where the pair are rumoured to be staying this week with their three children.

However, it is likely the Monarch has reserved York Cottage for Meghan and Harry, which is currently used as an estate office for Sandringham.

Originally named the Bachelor's Cottage, the home was built as an extra residence for Sandringham House. King Edward VII gave it to his son Prince George, later King George V, and his wife Queen Mary as a wedding gift.

Well, the Cotswolds might not have the beach but I’m sure you’ll be able to find a yoga class and avocados in the local tow, Megs.
