Y viven en un piso pequeñisimo.

Una amiga me escribe hoy que su marido medico ha dado positivo, que se sitio mal hace 1 semana y que hoy tuvieron la confirmacion, y que ella no.
Y viven en un piso pequeñisimo.
Justamente por un sector de prensa y ciudadanía que piensa de esta manera, la RF tiene que ser muy cauta en todos los pasos que da... no toda la opinión pública es un camino de rosas.

Prince Charles Has Coronavirus, And I Couldn’t Care Less
Prince Charles has tested positive for coronavirus, but the U.K. public is angry that tests aren't widely available for everyone else.

The Prince of Wales has the coronavirus. That’s right, the one-time “world’s most eligible bachelor,” Prince Charles, has tested positive for Covid-19.
- Prince Charles has tested positive for the coronavirus after displaying “mild” symptoms.
- The British public are angry that he could receive a test when people with severe symptoms and even NHS staff aren’t being tested.
- The news and reaction is another example of how the British monarchy is a symbol of much that’s wrong with the U.K.
According to his “office”, the Prince is displaying mild symptoms of the disease, but otherwise remains in “good health.”
The thing is, who cares? Really, I couldn’t care less that a social virus like Prince Charles has caught a biological virus like Covid-19.
And given that the U.K. government is failing to test people with severe coronavirus symptoms, the fact that a parasite like Charles can receive a test after what’s basically a mild cold should be cause for protest, not concern.
The Prince Charles Virus Catches Coronavirus

Of course, more interesting than the diagnosis is the claim that the Prince has “been working from home” since coming down with symptoms. Working from home?! What’s he been doing: shaking hands with the butlers and asking them “What do you do?“?

Clarence House also confirmed that Prince Charles’ wife, the Duchess of Cornwall, has tested negative for the coronavirus. It also acknowledged that neither Charles nor his staff have any idea as to how exactly the Prince was infected.

But while a few members of the British public do have sympathy for Prince Charles, most have responded angrily to the news.

Why? Well, because the Prince was able to receive a test after displaying only mild symptoms. Not only that, but his wife received testing despite not having any symptoms at all.
Fair enough, you might think. But in the U.K., even people displaying severe symptoms aren’t receiving tests, with the government simply telling them to stay at home. In fact, even NHS doctors treating people with the coronavirus aren’t receiving tests.
Hence, Britain’s exploding number of coronavirus cases. And because of the lack of testing for the vulnerable and those with stronger symptoms, most people have reacted bitterly to the news of Charles’ diagnosis.Source: Twitter
Superficially, Charles’ announcement is merely an occasion for sympathy. However, it has turned into yet another example of how the British monarchy — and the British establishment — rests on privilege, inequality, and injustice.
The Royal Family has long been a symbol of nearly everything that’s wrong with Britain. And with the coronavirus swamping the U.K., it’s now a symbol of how the British government has botched the job of stemming the Covid-19 tide.
So rather than feeling sorry for Prince Charles, let’s feel sorry for everyone the U.K. government is failing to help. This includes the five million self-employed people who haven’t been guaranteed any financial help. It includes 20 million people who rent their homes. And it includes the NHS doctors and nurses who aren’t being tested for Covid-19.
So yeah, forgive me for not caring that the Prince of Wales has the coronavirus.

A ver, que no fue ninguna profecía. Todo eso lo dijo en la entrevista con Bashir. No dijo que ella "no sería reina", sino que "no se veía como reina", lo cual era totalmente lógico considerando que en ese momento llevaban casi tres años separados y en muy malas relaciones (y se divorciarían menos de un año después). Por supuesto que no se veía como reina...ya sabía que no lo sería.
En cuanto a Charles, lo que dijo fue que "no tiene madera de rey", lo cual no es lo mismo que decir que no sería rey.
Ojalá Diana hubiera tenido el don de la profecía, o alguien le hubiera leído las cartas del tarot; así se hubiera enterado del accidente que pondría fin a su vida y ni se hubiera acercado al Pont de l'Alma...
Dicen que hasta ahora hace 10' de los ejercicios con que entrenan los militares canadienses, adaptados... cuando lo pillaron en short de baño en Cuba, creo que fue, se veía bien conservado para la edad que tiene...
Justamente, y uno diría que ser Consejero de Estado es un deber real más que importante...el hecho es que la integración del Consejo no se modificó. En los sitios oficiales sigue apareciendo con la misma integración que tiene desde 2005: Philip como consorte, Charles, William, Harry y Andrew...

Afortunadamente, como me contó otra prima, con el cambio en la preeminencia del varón sobre la mujer, cambiárá en el futuro aunque parece que no con efectos retroactivos. En el futuro y en un reinado de George, Charlotte sí estaría en el consejo de Regencia

Dejé de visualizar Monarquía Española por lo mismo. existen foros políticos. a mí. Ni me pagan por ello ni abonan mis facturas, pero es áltamente desagradable
Estoy de acuerdo contigo, en general, pero no en este particular porque, que yo recuerde, ha salido a colación por el tema de los contactos entre parejas, y tampoco se ha desviado el tema, la verdad. Algunas primas se limitaban a nombrar casos de supuesto no contagio entre parejas conocidas, al igual que Carlos-Camilla.
Así que tampoco creo que sea taaaan necesario un barrido. Hay cosas mucho peores en otros hilos y ya le damos bastante trabajo a @SuperCotilla y a @Linnet.
