La Beckam ya ha estado en estos saraos y estuvo en el de William y Kate que fue de estado y para mi el matri del siglo, pero Amal y Chopra encantadas con el postureo hasta decir basta! Yo no se, pero el postureo de Amal como que no va con ese de abogada de derechos humanos….

Eso hace rato lo sabíamos, a la tipa le encanta mas vestir de diseñador y ser fotografiada y ser esposa de George Clooney que su supuesta labor de abogada...Y la entiendo.

De acuerdo, pero yo creo que el dinero si corrompe la gente. Y Amal dio el tremedo braguetazo si hasta es "icono de moda".

Yo creo que la descubre, no la cambia.
Quiero decir, entes caso la fama (dinero ella ya tenía) le permite hacer cosas que antes no podía.
Hay gente que, aún con dinero, sigue siendo sencilla.

cierto que el color del vestido de la princesa Anne era horrible
la acertadisima comparación con la bata del de playa voy tampoco ayuda a verlo mejor
pero el corte y patrón estilo del traje a mi me ha gustado, así tipo vestido abrigo como con lazada a un lado creo,
insisto en que el color es horrible, pero ese vestido en otro color y sin el satinado hubiera estado muy bien

A la boda de la Reina Isabel, su esposo Felipe de Edimburgo solo paso 2 invitaciones una a su madre y otra a su tio.

Y el tío fue? Pues bien podía haber acompañado a la madre.
En este caso, para míi gusto, el protocolo falló estrepitosamente dejando a esta mujer tan sola

Pues de adentró de la recepción que ofreció la reina, Harry se ha puesto a llorar al hablar del amor en su discurso. La madre de Meghan también estaba muy conmovida. Después Harry ha preguntado, “alguien aquí toca el piano” como señal a que subiera Elton John.

El principe Charles ha dado discurso hablando de los tiempos donde cambiaba los pañales del principe y despues hace referencia a los tiempos locos del principe. Cuando daba mucho de que hablar Harry solo le decía “Gracias Pa” muy sonrojado mientras todos reían.

After an emotional day which was played out in front of the eyes of the world, it was perhaps not at all surprising that Prince Harry shed a few tears at the reception this afternoon.

After all, he’d just married his American girlfriend in the historic St George’s Chapel and then processed in a carriage with Meghan, the new Duchess of Sussex, through the town of Windsor in front of 100,000 people.

The tears came during the groom’s speech to the 650 guests who had assembled in St George’s Hall inside Windsor Castle.

Harry, at a small lectern, was talking about his new bride and the moment he spoke about love, he became very emotional.

And, as often happens at weddings, that set off a run of tears on the faces of others in the room.

In particular, his new mother-in-law Doria Ragland.

And what a week she’s had: leave home in Los Angeles, meet the Queen, help your daughter into her wedding dress, watch her being escorted down the aisle by the heir to the British throne.

Little wonder then, that she was also moved to tears by her new son-in-law’s words.

Prince Harry, now the Duke of Sussex, spoke after a personal address from his father Prince Charles, who told the guests about how he used to try to change Harry’s nappies (diapers if you’re reading this in the US), feed him his bottle of milk and trying to wind him.

“I’ve been trying to wind him ever since,” the Prince joked in what was perhaps a nod to Harry’s wilder days when he was in the news for less than happy reasons.

There were lots of warm exchanges between father and son as Harry’s repeatedly said “thanks Pa” when his father made jokes at his expense.

The reception – where the guests stood and ate canapes and bowl food and drank Pol Roger champagne – took place straight after the service in the chapel.

Harry and Meghan returned in their Ascot Landau carriage and had time with their photographer Alexi Lubomirski.

Some of those official photos should be made available early next week.

After his speech Harry said: “Is there anyone in the room who can play piano?”

It was the cue for Elton John – a long-time friend of Harry’s mother Princess Diana - to entertain the guests.

He played three songs: Our Song, Tiny Dancer and I’m Still Standing.

Meghan Markle is due to speak at the evening reception – which the newlyweds headed off to at seven o’clock after a change of clothes.

Fewer guests, around 200, are invited to tonight’s event, which is being hosted for his son and daughter-in-law by the Prince of Wales.

Meghan es más guapa que Andrey pero muchisimo más, es la cara de una mujer saludable frente a una anorexica con el cuello del ancho de un alfiler y las mandibulas desproporcionadas por la delgadez, y ya si miramos ese lazo ridiculo que lleva sobre el velo, para que queremos más---

Bueno, hay que ver que Audrey Hepburn usó ese vestido en los cincuenta...Y no sé si fue su vestido de boda o algo que modeló. Me parece que en sus bodas (fueron dos, no?) usó algo completamente diferente. Son tendencias, el vestido de Diana hoy parece una tarta de merengue y en aquel momento parecía fabuloso (bueno, eran los ochenta, creo que no hubo moda más hortera que la de esos años). Por otra parte, Meghan más guapa? Really?

Mis ojos...recién veo los zapatos. Completan el horror.

Ni que la realeza hablara de cosas importantes!!! jajajaja, a la reina Isabel le gustan los libros de Agatha Christie eso para que se note su nivel cultural y los otros burros practican todo tipo de deportes violentos pero no se terminan de leer ni el horocopo en el periodico, la madre de Meghan será negra pero no es idiota, seguramente tiene una conversación entretenida, sabe bailar, no le cae nada mal el vestido y tampoco se ve incomoda... no hay que sobrevalorar a la aristocracia, de hecho Meghan es más elegante que muchas de esas señoras de "sangre azul" y seguramente es más culta moderna e inteligente---

No se trata de sobrevalorar a nadie. Es seguro que conociendo sólo a los hollywoodenses (y a algunos) no se sentirá muy cómoda. Como cualquiera en esa situación. Supongo que habrá alguien que la arrope un poco.
