Meghan Markle will reportedly use vegan paint infused with eucalyptus oil to decorate her nursery for her first child, which is due in April.
The Duchess of Sussex also plans to make the nursery ‘gender-free’ for the next royal baby, reported The Sun.
During the week the former actress follows a strict plants-only diet and she has even persuaded Prince Harry to reduce his meat consumption.

As part of the £3 million renovation of their Grade II listed home Frogmore Cottage, which is on the Queen’s Windsor Estate, the 37-year-old Duchess is also claimed to be installing child proof windows and a £50,000 eco-friendly boiler.
She has enlisted the help of the star interior designer Vicky Charles who decorated the chic hotel Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire, which hosted Meghan’s hen party for three days.
Royal sources say the nursery will be painted in trendy whites and greys, with Meghan avoiding any paints tested on animals or ones that contain milk or bee’s wax as an ingredient.

A source told the Sun: ‘Rather than fashionable Farrow & Ball paint in shades such as Wevet, Peignoir and Pavilion Grey and Salmon, the Sussexes are much more in favour of The Organic & Natural Paint Co’s Auro range for the nursery.’
They also said the new boiler was installed partially because ‘capacity needs to be increased’ at the cottage.
The paint brand, based in Norfolk, was set up in 2012 by dad of two Chris Ridley after his family suffered from respiratory issues.
Infusing the paints with rosemary and eucalyptus oils is said to boost the immune system and creativity, and even enhance memory.
Kensington Palace declined to comment last night.
