Meghan Markle and the Duchess of Cambridge have very different signature styles - and favoured colour schemes - but the two royals both opted for shades of blue at two different events in London today.
Kate, 37, visited London’s St Martin-in-Field this morning for the launch of National Emergencies Trust. The independent charity will provide emergency response to disasters in the U.K.
For the event, the Duchess of Cambridge wore belted long-sleeved midi dress by one of her go-to British designer’s: Emilia Wickstead.
The fit and flare silhouette is a favourite of Kate’s, who has worn similar A-line dresses in numerous shades over the years.
The mum-of-three, who was accompanied by Prince William, appeared to brave the autumn chill in very thin, nude tights and accessorized with black patent stilettos and a matching clutch from Aspinal of London.
An enamel poppy broach, to mark Remembrance Day, was the final touch.

In contrast, Meghan, 38, wrapped up warm in a thick wool coat for her engagement.
The mom-of-one attended the 91st Field of Remembrance ceremony at London’s Westminster Abbey with Prince Harry. The Field of Remembrance was opened by the Duke of Sussex’s grandfather, the Duke of Edinburgh.
During the event, the couple stood for a two-minute silence to remember those who have died in service of their country.
For the event, Meghan paired her navy, bouclé coat with slouchy leather, black boots and black leather gloves.
For the official engagement Meghan also added a velvet fascinator with a veil by British milliner Philip Treacy.
Bouncy curls and a Remembrance Day poppy completed the look.
Royal fans were quick to complement Meghan’s ensemble saying “this is my favourite look of the year.”
