El kunaicho ha informado hoy lo siguiente:

Kei Komuro, el prometido de Mako visitará el día 18 la residencia de los padres de Mako. Según la agencia imperial será la primera vez que se encuentre personalmente con ellos y con su prometida en más de tres años.

El día 22 Mako acudirá a visitar a sus tios los emperadores, (con lo cual deduzco que irá sola), ya que el kunaicho no lo menciona a él.

El día 25 visitará a sus abuelos los emperadores eméritos, y de nuevo no se menciona a él.

El día 26 Mako y Key registrarán el matrimonio y ella saldrá definitivamente del hogar paterno. Se dirigirán a un hotal en donde conjuntamente darán una rueda de prensa y ella será presentada como Mako Komura.

El padre de la novia, el principe Akishino ha querido que no se utilicen las instalaciones imperiales y que la casa imperial no corra con los gastos del hotel. Lo pagará la pareja a medias.

el dispositivo de seguridad en el aeropuerto, alucinante... No parece haber dejado la familia imperial!
Las reverencias, las habituales en Japón, te las hacen uno por uno al salir de un autobus urbano ( es cuando pasas cerca del conductor), comercios, supermecados....
Lo de que les cambien de clase en el avón, una más.. Si quieren ser tan normales pueden no aceptar!
Pienso que no les han dejado a su Suerte y van con mucho apoyo, más del que pensamos.

¿Qué opinas de que Kei iba caminando delante? Se ve que a muchas nos chocó, pero cuéntanos un poco si es muy natural en Japón. Por lo pronto y si se quieren acostumbrar al estilo de NY, Key que vaya pensando en caminar al nivel de su flamante esposa.

Otra vez gracias @sprint! Empecé a ver noticias textuales pero no encontraba muchos videos. Y pues que mas agregar, finalmente se fueron de Japón, el tiempo dirá como se dan las cosas.
Sera que un contingente de periodistas japoneses los espere al llegar a Nueva York? Porque como encontré en el video, tienen bien sabido la duración del vuelo y la hora en que arribaran.

Me pareció muy curiosa la parte final de este donde varias personas que trabajan ahí hacen reverencia y se despiden de ella!

Yo he visto eso, la reverencia de los trabajadores de pista, es una costumbre.
He pasado Haneda, Kamsai e Itami.
Lo de decir adiós con las manos, no, primera vez. A lo mejor como buenos deseos a la feliz pareja.
Lo de la seguridad es sobrina del emperador y hermana del heredero.

Se vio a la pareja recogiendo su equipaje en la terminal de JFK antes de que los llevaran a su apartamento de una habitación en Manhattan.

Después de su llegada al Aeropuerto Internacional John F. Kennedy, se vio a la joven pareja saliendo de la terminal mientras estaba flanqueada por un destacamento de seguridad japonés y por agentes de la policía local.

Agarraron su equipaje y luego los llevaron a su nuevo hogar en Manhattan, un apartamento alquilado de una habitación.

Parece que la prensa seguira cubriendo un poco mas sobre Mako y Kei en NY. El detalle de el delante de ella, tambien me inquieto un poco, pero no se si son costumbres japonesas. Ojala tengan una vida tranquila y feliz.

Que caballeroso detalle del novio caminar delante de la princesa, ya me gano!!!

Muchas líneas aéreas, tienen la costumbre de que los trabajadores de pista agiten sus manos para despedir a los pasajeros cuando el avión empieza a moverse, la inclinación es muy de los japoneses, así que supongo que es parte de la despedida!!!

Es habitual en Japón caminar detrás del esposo. Una cuestión cultural.

Princess Mako and her new husband Komuri Kei officially began their new life as a married couple in New York, touching down in the Big Apple early on Sunday morning after a 13-hour flight from Tokyo.

Mako, 30, the eldest daughter of Crown Prince Fumihito and niece of reigning Emperor Naruhito, tied the knot with university sweetheart Kei Komuro, a commoner, in Tokyo after an eight-year engagement - despite many in their native country not supporting the nuptials.

Today, the couple cut casual figures as they were pictured jetting out of Tokyo - with a crowd of spectators and photographers in attendance - bound for the Big Apple.









The newlyweds have been living in a modest Tokyo apartment together ahead of the move to New York, where Komuro works as a lawyer at the New Jersey-based law firm Lowenstein Sandler LLP.

After arrival at John F. Kennedy International Airport, the young couple was seen leaving the terminal while flanked by a Japanese security detail as well as local police officers.

They grabbed their luggage and were then driven to their new home in Manhattan - a one-bedroom rented apartment.

While the apartment is a one-bedroom, the building is a luxury residential tower that offers amenities including a fitness center equipped with Peloton bikes, a yoga studio, a screening room, an in-house spa, a golf simulator section, landscaped decks with barbecues and table tennis, a library curated by Strand Book Store, and a 24-hour attended lobby.

The location, right in the heart of the Hell's Kitchen section of Manhattan, is a stone's throw away from famous New York City landmarks including Central Park and Lincoln Center.

According to the building's web site, one-bedroom apartments are available for rent for $4,809 per month. A two-bedroom apartment in the building would set the tenant back $7,085 per month.

Before landing in the US on Sunday, Mako declined the offer of 140million yen (£890,000) payment to which she was entitled for leaving the imperial family, palace officials said, and is expected to find a job in New York.

Wearing white facemasks and pulling suitcases behind them, Mako and Komuro were accompanied by a sizeable entourage, as global media gathered to capture the couple at the airport in Tokyo.

For the long flight to JFK, the former princess opted for a low-key navy blue jumper with button detail and coordinated wide-legged trousers while her new husband wore a cozy knitted green cardigan and navy corduroy trousers.

Earlier this month, it was revealed Komuro had failed the New York State Bar Association exam, according to Japanese broadcaster NHK.
