The Sussexes Gatecrashing and LA Trashing
Los Angeles is still on lockdown until July at least due to the coronavirus crisis, so are the dastardly duo going to abide by the guidelines or will they try to nip out of the USA? After reports of MM stomping her feet, and leaking a story that Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand’s book, ‘Finding Freedom’ should be released now, does she honestly think that the work of a two-bit journalist is going to change the public perception of her? As for the rumors that MM kept a diary, I say so what? Anyone can make up content for content for a diary, and no one is scared of reading her imaginary tales. That’s right, no one is afraid of her although she likes to think she can dominate through fear. It appears that tabloids do exist in the USA as well, and the duo don’t seem to be that popular there either.
We were treated this week to staged paparazzi shots of Harry (that grey polo shirt is back) playing in the garden with a dog, I mean who cares? Oh, but there was a reason because they needed to justify erecting fences around the home that they are renting (or are staying in as guests). The fences aren’t very high, unsightly and makes the place look like building site, and I can’t imagine that their host is very happy about it. The question is why bother with fences when you can do this thing called close the curtains or pull down the blinds? It makes the place look trashy, but that’s what they seem to excel in.
Are the Sussexes so egotistic that they think people care about what they do and want to see what they are up to? The answer is no, because people have far better things to do with their time now that the lockdown has been eased a little. Apparently with the hiking trail being opened up, it means the house maybe visible, but honestly I think people are more interested in the scenery and to take in some fresh air while they can rather than to try and peer into a home of two freeloading wastrels.
There seems to be a pattern––leak where they are staying, erect some fencing to prove they are there and for show (they need privacy, so don’t leak where you are!), and then leave shortly for the next place. The house they stayed in whilst in Canada was ‘leaked’ to the media in December, then they erected additional fencing in January and February, and it all appeared for show. However, upon showing off that they ‘needed’ fencing around a house, they upped sticks six weeks later to the USA when Canada said they weren’t coughing up any more money for their security.
If reports are accurate, then the Harkles moved to their present location as a guest of Tyler Perry, a friend of friend of an acquaintance and have been there for two months. It’s the same old show, leak where you are to the media, erect some fences, and then claim you have to move elsewhere, but in reality they have probably outstayed their welcome. Perhaps they are renting, but does Perry need the money? Probably not, and was likely to have been convinced that having former royal guests there it would up his profile. Maybe they offered to pay the bills, but you don’t let guests do that, so Perry probably said, ‘No’, and most decent guests don’t take advantage and switch off the lights and take care of the property, but we aren’t talking about any ordinary guests here. We are talking about expert liggers, grifters, and the ultimate freeloaders who will take advantage as much as they can, and for as long as they can.
The fences have gone up, but they are so low I barely see the point! It does mean that the Harkles will be moving on soon because they are being ‘forced’ to move again. That’s why the fences have gone up as a statement to say they have no choice but to flee! Rumour has it that they are about to move into another property, but it seems a little delayed due to the COVID-19 crisis, and also that the other party are making sure the funds are cleared before the keys are handed over.
After surviving reading and analyzing the judgment on the lawsuit against ANL (Mail on Sunday), it seems clear that the case is purely about pride and for MM to show off, and that she has money to throw away. For those who couldn’t face reading it all and who have listened to the summary that the media have provided, the reason why sections of the Particulars of Claim were struck out were a combination of a failure to adhere to the Practice Directions, Chancery Guidelines, that led to inadequate pleadings, but included irrelevant material that was unrelated to the Particulars of Claim. Many have asked why a lawyers would commit career suicide, and it all boils down to money, and one wonders how many other firms turned the Sussexes down when they asked them to represent them in the case. Money is one thing, but losing regular clients is business suicide.
The week ended with the Sussexes having to make some kind of appearance and that was to ‘gatecrash’ a Zoom staff meeting of Crisis Text Line. It isn’t really newsworthy and is obviously for attention. Only a few tabloids bothered to cover the story and the usual sugary journals, but no reporters bothered to post it on social media. As someone pointed out to me, you can’t gatecrash a Zoom meeting because you need to know the date, time, meeting ID, and password (the same happened with Smartworks), so it was all planned in advance as a publicity stunt.
On another point, as this was a staff meeting, surely if confidential conversations were being carried out, wasn’t it highly inappropriate for ‘visitors’ to attend a staff meeting? What could they possibly bring to it except the same old world salad of the ‘incredible’, and ‘amazing’ work that the ‘guys’ do, and that they are all so thankful. This isn’t to demean the work of the charity, but the debase nature of the despicable duo in that they will use any charity to gain some humanitarian like PR is simply sickening. Again, it just seems like a very desperate attempt to look as if they are ‘working’ and to look relevant because they are afraid people will forget them. It’s too late because people have forgotten them, and others simply don’t care because they have better things to read about and to focus on in their lives. People loathe being preached to, and that’s all that the duo do. If only someone could switch off their wi-fi router, that would be a blessing in disguise. Maybe one of the dogs will knock it over and chew it like a toy?Dim and desperate?
While the lockdown around the world continues, in some parts it’s beginning to ease, however if there is the inevitable second spike, then the lockdown will have to tighten again. Those who are stranded in countries have the usual visa issues, and while there is some leeway to apply to extend visas, the paperwork must be filed. Who knows what visa Harry has, because the paperwork is lengthy and if they applied a year before he entered the USA then there maybe a chance he did get a visa based on MM’s citizenship? However, it’s unlikely that happened without BP knowing, and if Harry opts to be a resident in the USA then it would have been factored into the ‘leaving package’ at the Sandringham Summit.
It’s more than likely he got a B1/2 visa which allows a stay of six months upon each entry, and Harry was hoping to nip in and out on that as each time he arrived it would begin a new six month cycle. However, if he is on such a visa, that will expire mid-September which currently can be extended for 30 days only and must be applied for early on. It’s too soon to say how the coronavirus will shape the rules, but the UK is going to instigate a 14 day self-isolation period for all those who enter the UK, so it won’t be a case of hopping back into the UK and then to hop back out after a few days for Harry as he prefers. That means any plans he had to attend events have been shelved including family events, and it’s apparent that MM’s alleged plans to be gain citizenship in the UK were all just words, and fake ones. She’s been out of the UK for too long already, and never had any intention or wish to make the UK her home.
Whatever the duo attempt to do to stay relevant, it simply doesn’t work. Even the trashy mags can’t be bothered with them and if they do, they take the side of The Queen (wisely), while Royal Reporters have finally figured out that posting stories on the Sussexes just means endless notifications whereby most are comments that will attack them from their cult fans, so they have stopped for the time being. Perhaps they have realized that they need their job rather than to post stories that no one wants to know about, and the Harkles are history?
Is this the end? I doubt it just yet, and they will pull more desperate stunts where the media has to offer fake praise. How many more contrived and dire video chats must we endure, gatecrashing video meetings, and with the lockdown being relaxed aren’t they going to deliver more meals to the needy? Are they worried that Lady Collin Campbell’s book out in six weeks will reveal some uncomfortable home truths? One thing the duo must learn is that they can’t control what sane people think and can see about them. They are so self-absorbed they have convinced themselves that the world needs them, and we do need them, but to shut up and to leave us alone. It’s not much to ask, but they are pests that don’t know when to leave, and who use and abuse, and take advantage of others. Soon they will be homeless, and no one seems to care, while offers of free mansions to stay in don’t seem to be in abundance. Well, at least MM knows how to get to Skid Row to join their contemporaries, but I doubt her world salad offering will do much good there. She’s more likely to get a custard pie in the face if she tries…
