El príncipe Harry y Meghan Markle tratan de hacer una nueva vida en Canadá después de haber renunciado a sus títulos reales. Pero la tarea no es sencilla.
Los fotógrafos se esfuerzan por captar cualquier imagen de la pareja y, a falta de noticias, son muchos los que echan la vista atrás y repasan fotos y vídeos de ambos.
Muestra de ello es un vídeo que se ha difundido muy rápidamente en Twitter en los últimos días. Lo subió a esa red social el usuario @ddarveyy y en menos de dos días acumula nada más y nada menos que 600.000 ‘me gusta’ y 133.000 retuits.
Se trata de una recopilación de momentos en los que el príncipe Harry se apresura a colocar el pelo a su esposa después de que ella haya sufrido cualquier mínimo contratiempo en el cabello.
Algunos de esos momentos son de su viaje oficial a África, pero también los hay de antes. Y varios tienen un denominador común: Meghan Markle recibe una medalla e inmediatamente su marido corre a colocarle el pelo.
Lo cierto es que la pareja nunca ha escondido sus muestras de amor, a pesar de que el protocolo de la Casa Real británica indica lo contrario. Por ejemplo, en el mes de septiembre un beso de la pareja revolucionó Reino Unido por lo extraño del gesto.

January 2020~ The Sly Sussex Timeline
The start of a new decade began with an explosive bang for the Sussex duo. Conspiracy theories and rumors had surrounded the despicable and dastardly duo from the get go, and the skeptical (or wise) listened with raised eyebrows, but could say little without evidence. It appears now that some of the rumors were indeed smoldering away all of this time, and those who called MM out (and who were attacked like myself) can now say, ‘I told you so,’ but no one derives satisfaction from that. One would prefer to have never been in this situation in the first place, but things are reversible even if some of the damage remains.
January was when the UK officially left the EU (31st at 11 p.m.), when democracy was upheld despite a minority who felt democracy only applied when their concerns were met. How can it be wrong for a country to regain sovereignty that had been chipped away slowly over the decades through deals and bills? Meanwhile in the USA, the third president in the history of the country was impeached, yet one questions whether those elected are upholding the Constitution in the spirit in which it was created, or is it being circumnavigated for political careers which was the antithesis of the Founders intents and proclamations? These are to me rhetorical questions where the answers are as clear as the fact that we know the sun rises in the morning, and that when it rains you get wet. Simple truths if you will, very much like the truth behind the Sussex duo that has been hidden and protected behind a smokescreen for the last couple of years that is finally being torn apart as the public challenge things that had been taken at face value. January 2020 was to be the downfall of the Sussex duo as the amber and then green lights were lit, and the key to the handcuffs on some media outlets was handed over. The Showdown began…
What is clear from this timeline is that the Sussex duo had intended to return to the UK only for a brief time perhaps in order to force a deal with the RF by leaving the ‘baby’ in Canada. There was no discernible reason as to why they left the ‘baby’ behind unless they hadn’t intended to stay in the UK for long, because caring parents don’t leave their children in another country unless there is no choice. Obviously this was planned and it’s the deception and lack of respect that the duo have shown to the RF and the public that is most reprehensible.
We can also see devious tactics of posting social media images timed to clash with other members of the RF or to attract attention when the images are old or irrelevant. There has been a shift in the media where the duo are being mocked for trying to cash in on their titles, and the Disney scandal has been embarrassing, watching Harry pitch to Disney during a meet and greet to get work for MM.
It also appears that MM has been posing for paparazzi images as she smiles directly at the camera, yet then wishes to control them by threatening the UK media if they purchase of print any images of the Sussexes. Somehow she knew where to look, and didn’t exactly frown or hide her face in the captured images. One would suspect that they had been tipped off by her PR as done previously, because I doubt Vancouver or Victoria airport are hot places for the paparazzi to stalk on a daily basis.
At the start of the saga, the duo were hailed as a ‘breath of fresh air’ but that was simply a matter of being PC about it. Many were skeptical of MM, and not because of her nationality, or ethnicity but because of her predilection for exaggerating her own preconceived facts with frequent bouts of Walter Mittyisms. Others knew but failed to speak up out of fear of being attacked, or plain old apathy. Rather than fresh air, what we are left with is the foul stench of the Sussexes, a classic case of “fair is foul, and foul is fair”, that has lingered for far too long and the fog that clouded and hid the deception is now lifting.
There have also been an increasing number of objections to the Sussex Royal trademark which was highlighted by the media, as well as jokes about the Sussex Royal brand and how people perceive it before it’s even been launched. It hasn’t been taken seriously as the Sussexes are being laughed at around the world. January was a month where some of their ‘secret’ plans had been revealed, yet this is not the response the duo had hoped for. No amount of desperate PR can save the yet to be launched flailing brand that no one is interested in (except to laugh at), and it’s clear the duo are plotting other nefarious tactics to enable their plan. It’s too late though for their cards are markled and their name is mud, where even the faux famous pals (who care about their own brand and image) have seen the light and have distanced themselves. - December 2019 ~ The Sussex duo had been on a ‘6 week break’ before the Christmas holiday but had still been active on social media posting motivational quotes and old images of previous work done the year before.
- January 6, 2020~ Harry and MM allegedly arrive back in the UK from Canada.
- January 7 ~ The duo visit Canada House and the Hubb Community Kitchen.
- January 8 ~ MM is seen visiting The National Theatre during the day, and possibly the Mayhew Centre where images were released two weeks later.
- January 8 ~ 6.30 p.m., a statement is released from the Sussex duo it appears without informing Buckingham Palace that they are ‘leaving’ the RF and will no longer perform royal duties on behalf of The Queen and will no longer receive public funding, but intend to keep 24/7 international security and Frogmore Cottage as outlined on a website (sussexroyal.com) that was launched and updated live throughout the evening.
- January 8 ~ 8.15 p.m., Buckingham Palace releases a brief statement confirming that the Sussexes no longer wish to be active members of the RF.
- January 9 ~ The SussexRoyal website edits the claim that the Sussexes are internationally protected people and will have 24/7 state paid protection detail.
- January 9 ~ Madam Tussauds removes the wax figures of Harry and MM from display after already having moved MM away from the RF several months ago.
- January 9 ~ MM leaves the UK for Canada as apparently ‘Archie’ was left in Canada.
- January 9 ~ The Queen has asked all households and government bodies involved to come up with a solution within days.
- January 11 ~ It is revealed that MM has a Disney deal to do voiceovers (in October 2019), and it was pitched at The Lion King premiere back in July 2019.
- January 11 ~ It is announced that there will be a meeting at Sandringham to discuss the future of the Sussexes.
- January 13 ~ Harry meets with The Queen, Charles, and William at Sandringham to discuss matters and to negotiate, and a short statement from The Queen is released.
- January 14 ~ Images of MM boarding a seaplane in Canada are published.
- January 14 ~ MM visits Justice For Girls in Vancouver but images are not released until two days later.
- January 14 ~ MM visits a shelter in Vancouver and the charity posts images on their social media on Jan 15.
- January 15 ~ Harry announces the Invictus Games 2022 will be in Dusseldorf. As a private patronage he will continue to represent the charity.
- January 16 ~ Harry has an outstanding engagement for the Rugby Football League and to make the draws for the upcoming world games.
- January 16 ~ Staff at Frogmore Cottage have been reassigned indicating that the duo will not be returning for a while.
- January 17 ~ MM is photographed picking up Heather Dorak from the airport in Canada. Paparazzi appear to be prepared and well positioned to take images on a random day!
- January 17 ~ Samantha Markle gives an interview to Dan Wooton on Talk Radio.
- January 18 ~ Buckingham Palace and The Queen release statements outlining the future of the Sussexes including a repayment of public funds used to renovate Frogmore Cottage, and that the duo will cease to use the HRH title and will no longer represent The Queen in terms of patronages and at military events. The duo will stay in Canada during a transition period, but Canadians are unhappy at the prospect of having to foot their security bill with petitions set up and the media opposing any such action strongly.
- January 18 ~ The Sussex Royal website adds an update deliberately using the HRH title shortly after it is announced that they will no longer be entitled to use it by March (spring).
- January 19 ~ Harry hosts a charity dinner for Sentebale and makes an aggressive speech mentioning it was not possible for him to retain his royal patronages and military roles while condemning and attacking the media. MM was supposed to have attended but had already fled the UK. If she had attended then it would have meant the ‘baby’ was left alone for nearly two weeks for no real reason.

- January 21 ~ Apparently the Sussex duo issue a warning to the UK media not to purchase or publish any paparazzi images of them.
- January 22 ~ The sussexroyal Instagram posts images of MM visiting the Mayhew Centre even though the visit was made earlier that month. The post was made at the same time Clarence House announced a preview of a speech Charles was making at Davos. The sussexroyal one appeared to be unnecessary and was seen as a desperate attempt to gain attention with a visit that was old, secretive, and that had no relevance at all.
- January 22 ~ A Thomas Markle documentary on Channel 5 is broadcasted, where Markle states that his daughter and Harry have been untruthful with various accounts that they have given in regards to several events
- January 23 ~ Sussexes announce they will pay part of their security costs but only on commercial arrangements, possibly to test the public reaction. It is not enough as the public want them to pay all their own security costs.
- January 24-30 ~ A number of oppositions to the Sussex Royal trademark are lodged, thus the opposition period is extended and more oppositions are being submitted.
- January 24 ~ Rumors that Ellen or Oprah may do an interview with the Sussexes circulate to test the waters, while the US media attack the British for being racist towards MM (with no evidence). The UK media, journalists, and the public hit back and the US media attack appears to have been replaced with satirical cartoons of their own about the duo.
- January 27 ~Thomas Markle gives a live interview on Good Morning Britain to clarify some remarks made and also to reaffirm some facts as far as he is concerned.
- January 29 ~ The sussexroyal Instagram posts a story urging people to share a hashtag for Canadian mental health.
- January 30 ~ An IPSO complaint Harry made in August 2019 was not upheld against The Mail on Sunday regarding a deliberately misleading cropped image. Pongo “me parto “porque lo del “ instituto Peinetas” es genial ? ??. Ahí es donde , efectivamente, Harry aprendió cómo pegarse con los fotógrafos cuando sales borracho de un bar .
en realidad a Harry no le hace falta ser ni estudiar para diplomático porque los diplomáticos de carrera trabajan ( trabajaban ) para Harry . O mejor dicho , para el buen nombre e intereses del país de Harry . Cosa para la que Harry ha demostrado tener nulo talento y lo que es peor , cero ganas . Cuando iba con su hermano y cuñado disimulaba más que es un torpe . Al menos alguien le decía cómo ir bien vestido .Tampoco se le pedía mucho más .

Cualquier persona que sepa lo que es estar enamorada sabe que las miradas de Meghan a Harry pueden reflejar cualquier sentimiento menos el de enamorada.
Es más , la única mirada de admirado enamoramiento que le he visto a Meghan no ha sido a Harry y sí a Will
Lo que me he reído con lo de la "rubia de las Vegas me gusta hasta a mi".
En cuanto a las miradas de Meghan a William, yo le vi coqueteo, pero mirada de enamorada no. El coqueteo es notable en una ocasión en la que lo mira directamente, sonríe y se toca el sombrero (ipso facto, William pasa de ella). Es cuando llevaba un vestido oscuro de escote barco, largo midi y un tocado. Me quedé con el vestido porque me gustó y pienso que le sentaba muy bien.
