If there are three things we know about Meghan Markle, they’re that she is (1) busy, (2) fashionable, and (3) charitable. In the latest issue of British Vogue, which she guest-edited, the Duchess of Sussex revealed that she was partnering with some British fashion brands to make a workwear collection. Because she’s a Duchess, it is of course for a good cause. For every piece of clothing sold, one will be given to the charity Smart Works, which provides interview clothing and training to unemployed women. Per royal correspondant Omid Scobie, Markel wrote in British Vogue, “Not only does this allow us to be part of each other’s story, it reminds us we are in it together.”
royal patron, and visited the headquarters in January. There, she helped a woman get ready for a job interview.
We don’t know yet what the clothes will look like, how much they’ll cost, or even when they’ll be available. But one thing that is certain is that they’ll go very quickly, providing a lot of clothes to Smart Works in return. Markle Sparkle, but with charity.
