Feb 6 La Reina no celebrará 65 aniv: privadamente conmemorará fallecimiento de su padre

Después que la Reina asumió, había que definir que pasaría si ella falleciera, quien será el Regente. A solicitud de la Reina, en la Cámara de los Lores, fue nombrado regente designado Prince Philip y en esa misma resolución, a Queen Mum la nombraron, Consejera de Estado-Counsellor of State. Queen Mum actuó como tal recibiendo a Embajadores, Ministros, etc. También asumió un papel que sería de Reina Consorte, con lo cual su presencia siempre fue poderosa y muy visible a muchas personas.

Osea si la reina se muriera antes, entonces Charles sería rey siendo menor de edad, Philiph sería regente
