Prince's Trust International lanza el Amal Clooney Award para mujeres de 11 a 30 años

Diferentes medios anuncian que el Príncipe ha elegido a Amal Clooney para ser la cabeza visible de la primera iniciativa global del Prince's Trust. Los medios indican que el Príncipe ha sido muy favorablemente impactado por la abogada.

Los Clooney vienen participando en actividades del Prince's Trust desde el 2015.

Según indica el prestigioso The Telegraph

"La Sra. Clooney, una abogada de derechos humanos, lanzará su propio premio llamado Amal Clooney Award, que busca celebrar a mujeres jóvenes de todo el mundo.

El premio, organizado por la organización benéfica juvenil Prince's Trust International, tiene como objetivo "resaltar el trabajo de las mujeres jóvenes que han tenido éxito contra las probabilidades de hacer una diferencia duradera en sus comunidades", dijo un portavoz.

Para el Premio, que presentará la Sra. Clooney en 2020, Prince's Trust International está en búsqueda de heroinas no reconocidas, pidiendo solicitudes de candidaturas para mujeres de entre 11 y 30 años que trabajan en “desde esquemas agrícolas sostenibles, hasta proyectos comunitarios en campamentos de refugiados, para trabajos de reconstrucción”. en zonas de guerra ”.

Leí el artículo que no era. Ahí solo decía que ella era parte de la iniciativa, ni que ella misma iba crear un premio con su nombre . Lo cual me parece un narcisismo monumental, que es abogada de derechos humanos y todo, pero no ha hecho nada tan maravillosamente relevante.

Creo que primero George va por una gobernacion y luego se tira a la presidencia, por ahi le van los tiros. Lo del premio que se llame como ella es ridiculo desde todo punto de vista.

Pues a mí me parece muy bien, que suelten los $$$ que a ellos les sobran y que vayan a parar a gente que los necesita. ¿Que es puro escaparate y narcisismo? Pues como ellos se pagan sus caprichos, mejor que repartan y no se vaya todo en modelis de un solo uso.

Pienso que esto tiene que estar acordado desde hace mucho tiempo. Tienen que haber hecho entrega del donativo para el Prince's Trust, haber firmado contratos, haber definido el papel de cada quien, contratos marcarios, etc. En mi experiencia, estas son negociaciones complejas, aunque sean muy cordiales. Como sabemos, la relación de la pareja Clooney con el Prince's Trust tiene ya varios años.

Human rights lawyer accepts invitation from Prince’s Trust International to support new accolade

Youth charity Prince’s Trust International has launched a new global award celebrating the achievements of inspirational young women around the world.

The Amal Clooney Award will highlight the work of young women who have succeeded against the odds to make a lasting difference in their communities. Amal will personally select one young winner to be presented with the award a year from now, in 2020.

The award will shine a light on the unsung heroes who are the driving force behind initiatives that are helping their communities to thrive. These could include anything from sustainable farming schemes, to community projects in refugee camps, to rebuild-work in war zones.

Amal Clooney says: “I am honoured to have been invited by Prince’s Trust International to participate in this global initiative celebrating young women who are change-makers in their communities. It is a privilege to be able to play a part in a project that will draw attention to incredible young women who are the future leaders of our world”.

Prince’s Trust International and the network of Prince’s Trust charities in the UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand will all encourage the search for young women whose work, whether official or unofficial, has made a significant impact on their communities. The Amal Clooney Award is open to any young woman between 11 and 30 and is open to both those who have and have not been beneficiaries of The Prince’s Trust Group.
