- Friday, March 17:
- Upon arrival, they will meet with French President François Hollande at the Élysée Palace. There have been unconfirmed reports saying this will be around 4:30 local time. (11:30 am EDT/8:30am PDT)
- The Duke & Duchess will then go to a reception at the British Embassy honoring the cultural ties between the UK and France
- Following the reception, Kate and William attend a black-tie dinner hosted by the British Ambassador to France, Edward Llewellyn
- It is expected the couple will stay with the Ambassador at his official residence, Hôtel Charost.
- Saturday, March 18:
- The Duke and Duchess visit Les Invalides (also known as Hôtel National des Invalides), a group of monuments and museums related to the history of the French military. The couple will learn about contemporary treatment of veterans; they will also meet those affected by the terrorist attacks at the Bataclan Theatre in Paris and the lorry attack in Nice on Bastille Day last year. (I don’t have a firm time for this.)
- William and Kate attend the France vs. Wales Six Nations Rugby Match at the Stade de France. William is vice-patron of the Welsh Rugby Union. The match begins at 3:45 local time, that is 10:45 am ET/ 6:45 am PT.
